Definitely order the churros for dessert! Great selection of authentic Mexican options. Perfect for date night or out with a large group.

We had a wonderful time dining with them. The food was fantastic. We were a large group and we didn’t feel rushed and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The wait staff understood my son needed to get up and move around and at times he was in the way, I did my best to mitigate that as much as possible and I didn’t feel judged, or put down because of his needs. The staff made it a point to smile and say hello to him. This is what put them over the edge with guest service. Special thank you to the server who picked my son up and made him laugh you were very sweet and thoughtful.
Thanks again!

What an amazing experience! Great food, perfect ambience and we were blessed with Paola, quite possibly one of our most favorite waitress of all time. Have her make the Mojito for you – ON Point!
We knew El Patron was going to be fabulous because we know Carlos and his family always go 100% in everything they do but we never anticipated that it would be beyond amazing.

You can sit outside which is lovely but make sure to see the inside. Very inviting!

P.S. Have your birthday here! They really get into it.

I was craving Mexican food for lunch today, and since El Patron was just 15 minutes away and I had never tried it before, why not give it a shot? Arriving at 1pm, I got a good feeling about the place as there were several (10 or more) people dining there. But the food feeling soon stopped.

First impressions: The parking lot and surrounding area had a lot of garbage strewn around, and the lot itself needed some repair. The setting is nice, but the building itself looked a bit ramshackled.

The decor inside was typical of most Americanized Mexican restaurants. Service was prompt, and my order came out quickly, but that’s where service stopped. I finished my diet coke and wanted another, but spent a majority of my time eating my meal with no refill.

The food was okay, but the presentation was sloppy, as if things were just plopped on the plate. It lacked real taste. And the price was a bit high for what it was.

El Patron, I hoped for better.

We stopped by this Mexican restaurant for dinner after a day of rafting on the Delaware River. The place offers plenty of seating, both indoors and out, making it a comfortable spot to unwind.

We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and while the portions were generous, we couldn’t finish everything, so be mindful of how much you order!

I highly recommend the Montreal fajitas and steak tacos—they were absolutely delicious! However, I was a bit disappointed with the guacamole portion; I expected a bit more.

This resturant is incredible! Been there twice already and looking forward to going back. I’ve only ordered the shrimp Fajitas cause they were so amazing the first time I wanted them again! I look forward to trying more things on their huge menu! The prices are very reasonable and service was excellent.

My fiancé and I visited El Patron Mexican restaurant today. We were recommended this restaurant by someone. The atmosphere was pleasant; they have options for outdoor tables, although it was crowded. The servers were very friendly and polite, providing great customer service. The food I chose was La Parrillada El Patron, and my fiancé had La Gran Botana. I will come back with family and friends. I do recommend this Mexican restaurant. The food is delicious; you won’t regret it.

I love this place and the food. Wait staff are all nice. Tables in the middle of the room are a little packed in, but workable. My main issue is the lighting. Way too bright and cold. Needs dimmer, warmer lighting.
Otherwise, everything is great.. especially the cocktails. My two favorites are the red sangria and the tamarind margarita!

El Patron was a mixed experience for us. Our daughters ordered the cheese dip, but they weren’t big fans—it was more on the sweet side and only warm, not hot. I gave it a try and had to agree with them, though they still ate it.

I had the Mar y Tierra, which sounded great on the menu, but the execution fell a little short. The steak was a bit chewy and gristly, and only three shrimp came with it. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either—I’d probably go with a ribeye or something different next time.

On the bright side, my wife really enjoyed her shrimp taco salad. That was the highlight of the meal. Overall, not a bad stop, but not a standout either.
