The food (fajitas) was not too bad. A little overcooked. Tacos were good. Around $30-35 for two with drinks.

Big portions & great price! Always friendly service!
My husband and I love to bring our friends here or take ourselves out. The beans & rice plate is the best tasting beans & rice I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant.

This had been one of my favorite restaurants for a long time. Excellent food, excellent service. I don’t know what happened, but the food is gross now. I hoped it was a one time thing, but the last 3 times I went the food was awful. It tasted dry, old and reheated. I don’t know if its a supply, budget or kitchen issue, But I wont be back anytime soon.

Stopped here for dinner. The staff were prompt and friendly. We were seated immediately and chips and salsa were brought to our table. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Our food came out hot and was plentiful. My only complaint was the hard shells were stale but everything else was very good. We would eat here again if back in the area.

Authentic Mexican food in a quaint setting. Service was fast, server was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the chips and salsa which were brought to the table shortly after being seated. Margaritas come in 3 sizes, we had medium house and strawberry margaritas and thought they were delicious & a generous size! The lunch entrees were served with rice and beans, wished a small shredded lettuce salad would have been included.

The fajitas were very good, large portion for the single or small size. Chicken quasadilla was more like a flour shell taco with chicken and cheese but good. Tacos were just okay. It was very warm in this restaurant. Not sure why.

This used to be our favorite restaurant- we ate here every week- great service and great food. I don’t know what happened but it has nose dived for the worst. We were one of only 2 tables and still couldn’t get refills or service. I had crab and shrimp enchiladas. It came with 3 and used to be enough for 2 meals. They are now flat there was so little filling. There was one shrimp total in 3 enchiladas. Fried ice cream is now one small ice cream scooper size portion. Thought we would give it one more try but won’t be back now, definitely not worth a $50 meal.

Updated to add photos. There was one tiny shrimp in the whole meal. Not 5 bites of meat between all 3 enchiladas. Fried ice cream pic with one tiny scoop of ice cream the other part is pita chips.

TL:DR: Poor Food, Gross Drinks & Really Bad Attitude.. ahem I mean Service.

This place used to be great, but something changed and not for the better. My sister and I went out for dinner here with my boyfriend, bringing our Bucky Books since they have a coupon for $10 off any entrée.

From the start, our server had an attitude. When he mistakenly brought two frozen margaritas instead of the one we ordered, he shot us rude looks when we clarified we only wanted one. (For what it’s worth, the margarita was good, warm and cozy kind of good so I gave two stars in the Food category for that.)

My boyfriend was frustrated by the portion sizes, though he admitted the refried beans were the best he’s ever had. I agree they were really well~made. But that’s where the compliments end. My beef chimichanga? Completely inedible. It was so overloaded with juices that the inside of the tortilla was white and soggy despite the outside looking fried. It ruined the whole thing. My sister’s chicken chimichanga didn’t have the same issue, but she still left most of it untouched, shaking her head about how much this place has gone downhill.

The biggest letdown? Her Horchata. She was so excited to order it only to be served some weird, watery milk with a gritty texture. When we politely let the server know, he just glared at us and said, “Well, what do you want me to do?” Uh… maybe not charge us for it? Instead, he just walked away.

To top it all off, my boyfriend started sweating and feeling awful before we even finished, so he went to the car while we got our checks. That’s when we were told we both couldn’t use a coupon, even though the printed terms clearly said “one per customer.” We had separate checks, so it should’ve been honored. When I pushed back, the server got snippy, so I told him I’d be reflecting this in my review. That’s when he went to another employee, came back, and suddenly allowed it “just this once.”

By then, the damage was done. Between the bad food, bad drinks, and really bad service, there was no saving this experience. The final cherry on top? The receipt had suggested tip amounts starting at 20%. I genuinely struggled to leave any tip, but somehow still left the industry standard of 18% for reasons only God himself knows.

And uhhh why is there a random vending machine offering only American snacks inside? Pretty sad that their customers feel hungry enough to eat from a vending machine before they leave. (If they’re not feeling sick.) For me & my sister, we fought the sick feeling only an hour later.

Our first time eating here and the food was delicious and reasonably priced! We had a wonderful experience for a date night, and will be back with the whole family next time.

So rude, very dirty. I sat down at the table and after looking at the menu I noticed my white sweatshirt was full of salsa. It was all over the side of the table. So I stood up said this is from the table. The lady says what do you want me to do about it. Not a sorry. Did not even attempt to get a towel to clean the table. Will never step foot back in this place.
