Plus, My favorite part, the cashiers are incredibly friendly, and the baggers know exactly how to bag! I can’t tell you how many times I have been incredibly disappointed in chain stores not teaching anyone how to bag things properly.
I was highly impressed with the young lady being able to put everything exactly where it should go and not crush anything.
What is especially disturbing is that these recordings often include families and young children, who are being filmed and shared online without any ability to understand or agree to it. Families should be able to dine together without worrying that their children will end up as content for social media.
The restaurant appears to allow or ignore this behavior, which reflects poorly on its professionalism and respect for customer privacy. Recording patrons and encouraging online shaming creates a hostile and unwelcoming environment. Dining out should feel safe and respectful, not like you are being used for someone else’s online following.
I would strongly caution anyone who values privacy, especially families with children, to think twice before supporting a business that permits this kind of behavior from its employees.
It’s a 20 minute drive from our house in Lawrence.
Yesterday we took that drive just for dinner
As we walked in the door we saw the sighn posting of 32 oz lime margarita for under $5
All day.
I personally not a big fan of lime.
But my wife agreed to try after our server said she liked it.
We allways share our margaritas together.
As I said not a fan.
But this lime margarita was delicious
And now is a favorite of mine.
As for our meals we had
I am a big enchilada fan and haven’t found any restaurants in Lawrence.
I had the trio enchiladas and its by far the best I ever tasted.
My wife loved her meal to.
When we were seated chips and salsa was provided.
Our server was fast and even though she had other tables she allways stopped enroute to answer any questions.
Our margarita came out really fast.
Our meal came to the table really fast.
I knew what meal I wanted but my wife
Saw so many items to chose from.
My wife picked an item she liked
That had chicken breast meat.
We saw the there’s plenty of tables in another room that had customers.
We allso saw they have outdoor seating for summer visits.
We plan to visit again
And the lime margarita was delicious

Came here for the first time while visiting from out of state. I love Mexican food and have it at least twice a week. El Patron has plenty of authentic dishes and accents. The restaurant is nicely decorated in Mexican decor. The menu has a lot of options! It was very hard to decide on one thing.
They immediately brought out baskets of chips and cups of salsa. We ordered some guacamole. It was delicious. Very we made!
I had a glass of sangria. It didn’t have any fruit in it and but it was delicious. I settled on the lunch special chicken chimichanga. It came with refried beans and yellow rice. I was able to eat everything but 1/2 of the chimichanga. My daughter ordered the shrimp tacos. She said it was really good! My sister got the plate with 4 different kinds of tacos. She said they were delicious! It came with 4. She took two home. My sister in law got a small margarita and taquitos. She said they were really good. My brother got some French fries with beef strips and cheese on them. The kids shared a quesadilla. My portion of the bill, which was the two guacamole’s, the shrimp tacos, the chicken chimichanga, the sangria and a coke, was $47 before tip. Not bad since we had enough leftovers for my husband to have an entire meal out of it. So, $47 for 3 people.
The waiter was great and I tipped him 25%. They were very attentive to our large party of 10.
They also have outdoor eating which looked really nice on a spring day.
I will definitely be back!
