The place was really crowded. We were seated quickly and our server came and took out order. It took very long for the order to come out. We ordered veggie bowl and veggie option A with burrito, enchilada, tostada. We also got chips and salsa. The server came and checked on us several times. Friday evening at El Patron. Service was fast obviously wanting to turn tables. We had a a few house margaritas not realizing they weren’t on happy hour and costs $12.50 each. The Mexican guacamole was great but the queso dip was a terrible velveta like soup. The fajitas were good although served after the side dishes. The chili rellano was covered in the same velvets soup. Shrimp tacos were bland. This meal was not worth the money imo.

I have been accused numerous times of judging Mexicans restaurants solely by their cheese dip… not entirely wrong. This place is one of the MANY that thins down the cheese dip to milk in an effort to make it cost them as little as humanly possible. I just paid $10 for a bowl of “cheese dip” that had the consistency of milk when it was dropped off at room temperature. A few minutes later I told my server it was cold. He disappeared with it to microwave it and it came back warm-ish and even thinner. ♂️
I get that it’s a business and profit margins and all that, but for TEN DOLLARS, this is absurd.

We were seated right away and I love the way the place was decorated. I ordered the giant Chimichanga and it was awesome. I can’t believe I ate the whole thing. Everyone was happy with they got, esp my wife with here pollo fundido. We will be back.

This is definitely my favorite Mexican spot in the area. I’m coming here twice a week at this point and have never had a bad meal. My wife and I get the grilled tacos, and they always come out piping hot. It’s plenty of food with beans and rice. It’s always delicious, and it’s like 35 bucks for the both of us. What a deal! The staff is great, always friendly and attentive to whatever you need. They are always overstaffed, which is a plus if you ask me. They also have a robot that takes food to the table (kids love it). The only complaint is paying. We started bringing cash. When you give them the card at the front desk, they ask how much you want to tip, and she runs it through. I have never had a problem with it, but I like to have control over that kind of thing. Swing by and enjoy – It’s Killer!

Was extremely full and satisfied! Honestly we order way too much food. The restaurant took awhile to bring out our food when it looked like it wasn’t that busy. Bit disappointed with the chicken and the steak as they were very thin slices.

Still great food!!
The ultimate fajitas for two is excellent. Loads of steak, shrimp and chicken. Enough for three people.
Update: second service was better. Food was still very good. Wait time was good. Will definitely come back!
