The food here is actually very good flavorful, well-seasoned, and feels very homemade.
Unfortunately, the ambience doesn’t match the quality of the food. The place feels a bit run down and not very clean or comfortable to sit in. With just a little effort in presentation and atmosphere, this could easily be one of the best spots around. I hope they invest in improving the space, because the kitchen clearly knows what they’re doing

I came here specifically for Salvadoran food. I ordered 2 different kinds of pupusas. They had a decent amount of cheese, and were served with salsa and curtido. The yuca and chicharrón we’re the best I ever had, I would definitely order that again. The surprise of the meal was the sopa de mariscos, which you can order with regular broth or cream broth. The cream broth was so full of flavor! There were many similar restaurants near El Patrón and feel I lucked out here!

Nice Spanish bar and restaurant hidden in Falls Church. Came late night so music was loud and club atmosphere so be prepared to be screaming at whomever you are with. The food was delicious, served quickly and was inexpensive and made like your abuela was cooking for you! Highly Recommend!!!

Awesome food, very authentic, great value. The food is often prepared by Blanca herself, and you can always tell when it’s by her. It just has a special touch, and it’s wonderful.
I’ve never felt that the wait time is excessive, and I appreciate the server’s adaptability — Their default is to ask in Spanish, but once I utter my first “um” and laugh nervously, they smile and speak to me in English.
All-around a wonderful restaurant with amazing, authentic food! Would recommend, 150%!

Okay first of all the service was fine. What was not fine was the drinks and management. My dads drink was a Cebada it was too watery absolutely did not taste like the way it’s suppose to and my moms drink just had something it shouldn’t have had in it. They say the customer is always right, correct ? So my mom (keep in mind she has 20+ years in the food industry) spoke with the manager all she said was she’s not trying to get a free meal she’s just letting him know what was not right and he had the nerve to go back and forth to prove a point to her about what “didn’t go wrong with her drink” but we all know there was a piece something in there that was not apart of the ingredients to make the fruit juice also he gave us a business card to get a free appetizer the next time we go back but point is we’re not coming back nor recommending this place. P.S the food could’ve tasted a whole lot better.

Delicious Food.. authentic too. Consistently delicious. Prices are so very reasonable. We have eaten there several times on our way to NC and the food is outstanding! I would give this 10 stars if I could. We are from the mid-west and know good Mexican food— this is very good!
