Pato is very good, always pretty good servings. The pato tacos are pretty pricey, guys, but they are good. The bake potato is OMG, no joke, yet Delish for the price wow amazing I will order it again. When my buds are craving it. As usual, I ordered my Pato taco Beef/cheese/Avocado. I love this one, and my husband orders the guisado plate. So yes, food is pretty decent, always fresh. The place is always clean, clean restroom and staff is always nice. I travel abt 30min to this place to come and have a good meal either breakfast, lunch or dinner. I recommend it and yet it’s pretty packed on drive-thru. But it’s ok. I dine in. May I mention breakfast here is always on the menu? Breakfast is not only for breakfast. You can have it any hour of the day, and I recommend it. Very delish plates and breakfast tacos chorizo and egg w cheese, potato egg, and cheese. My plate was the chicharon with egg, refried beans, side potatoes, and flour tortillas very good. But idk last three 3x’s I’ve come they don’t carry Pico de Gallo idk what’s the deal. You all need to have it. All other Patos restaurants have it, and you all don’t. Anyways, thank you for my meals, Harlingen Pato, staff, and cooks.

Ordered food thru phone. For part of order I asked for 3 crispy ground beef tacos drained. Left drive thru and opened bags to discover they were flour instead of corn. Came inside and also asked if there was a price difference. Cashier said no. I pointed out there was actually a $3 difference. Had to wait on side while they helped other customers. Wrote this review while waiting for my few dollars back.

Called in to place an order and they answered and put me on hold which they’ve done before and never come back to take my order. This time I stayed on hold for 30min before someone came back on the line and when I expressed my frustration and disappointment the same girl just disconnected my call. Horrible work ethics and I just don’t know why I keep giving them a chance to make it WHY DON’T THEY ANSWER THEIR PHONE? DO THEY NOT WANT THE BUSINESS?right because they just don’t care.

Called in order 2 plates of cheese enchiladas and was told it would be 15 to 20 minutes. Almost 30 mins i cancelled order. They had a young girl employee with red hair scratching her head and put her back finger in her mouth. Not once did i see her wash her hands. The assistant manager no help at all. This was in the evening.

So disappointed with my local el pato location. I went this morning to place an order for a total of 7 patos. Everytime I order there is ALWAYS something wrong with my order which is why I park and check my order only to always have to call in to speak to manager to correct my order. Today I did the same I have 5 patos all wrong out of the 7. Also, when I order favor for work and multiple employees every time the order is wrong as well so half the employees don’t even get to eat. It’s so frustrating yet I still go back hoping they will fix it. They can never seem to get it right. I hope they fix this asap because I’m now at a point that I don’t want to go back because more than half my order will be wrong and while waiting for the order to be corrected the other tacos I have are getting cold.

Beef fajita is over cooked and tough (I ordered the beef quesadillas). Food overall was kinda sloppy and bland. The cashier was nice and restaurant was clean though.
