Recommended by a co-worker. I ate there in Novi for the first time. Excellent!! I lived in Texas a long time and struggled to find a worthy Mexican restaurant. Very quick service, plenty of room. I ate the chicken fajitas lunch special. Salsa is great too! Plenty to bring home for dinner as well. That equates to $11 a meal which included a $5 tip to my waiter. Best I have eaten since moving back to MI. Highly recommend. Muy bien.

So on the surface this restaurant is pretty good. I thought the food was good. Not great. The fajitas, the chips, the salsa and their tacos are great. But the big downer and my reasoning for the low rating is because asking for some adjustments to the menu was a complete disaster. We wanted a bean, beef and cheese burrito (They only have beef burrito or bean burrito) and they said they can’t do that even though 3 weeks earlier they actually did it. They made a super big deal about it. The answer of no was a little disappointing and then they told me they’ve never done that which they did and then to be super rude about it was the reason I was upset and unfortunately the food I had was good. My other guest did not so I won’t be going back

Everything was delicious and the service was great. Even dessert!
Had a flauta, enchilada, and tamale, rice and beans. Yummy sauce on the beef tamale. Hubby loved his chile verde. Flan was large and could have been split as well as fried ice cream. Very generous portions and reasonable prices. First time here and will definitely go back.

We had their Taco Tuesday special; 4 tacos for $5. We each had 2 chicken and 2 beef tacos. They tasted great. After we were seated, the waiter immediately brought us chips and salsa. The salsa is chunky, just what we like.

Fast service, great food (sorry too excited to be out and about for a meal – forgot to take pics). We have been here many times and they never fail to satisfy. Chips and salsa is served faster than you can consume. This time we sat at the bar (no one at the bar – felt Covid safe) and asked the bartender/waiter if he could make us fresh jalapeño margaritas. Wowza sooo good

Great Mexican food especially for lunch with a large lunch menu offering perfect lunch size portions at great prices.
While everything I’ve tried, I particularly enjoy the Chimichanga, the Huevos con Chorizo and the Chile Relleno. They make a great guacamole and the salsa is spot on for heat and chunkiness.
The service is great and food comes out fast.

Amazing outstanding taste, very reasonable price and heart warming service. A must place to go. I have been to other El Patio around michigan and none of them stand anywhere close to this in terms of food taste atleast. Non vegetarian is also great but recently i tried veg fazita and was really filling. I had to take back some leftovers as food quantity was unbeatable.

The absolute the worst Mexican food, I have ever had in my life. Zero flavor it was not authentic Mexican food it was too vanilla. I’m from the West Coast I know what Mexican food is supposed to taste like.
