Our waiter was great. He didn’t even need to write our order down and food was on our table in no time. He was up and down them aisles non stop. All the tables were filled on a Monday. The seating is very comfortable with lighting that is inviting and not over powering. I’ve never had better fajitas. They were perfectly seasoned and charred.

How do I love you…..let me count the ways
1. The music was perfectly adapted to conversation and got you in a fiesta mood.
2. The salsa was not too spicy, flavorful and the chips were hot.
3. Service was quick, and accurate.
4. My enchilada, rice and beans were excellent.
I was so impressed that I called for the manager so I could tell him what a great experience I had. My husband also agreed!

Flip Out
El Patio looked like a good place to try, so we did. We mistakenly ordered both the white queso and bean dip then I went crazy, and added guacamole dip. Our waiter was a great sport and just went along with me on my crazy appetizer adventure. Mrs. Flip Out and I shared the steak fajitas, and they were great. Both Littles just had to have cheese burgers and the enjoyed them. The staff and atmosphere were great and worth the stop along I-40.

Me and my father stopped here to have dinner when we were on our way to Phoenix AZ. We got sat very quick and also served. We were in and out in a blink. I will definitely stop by here if I travel thru here again. It’s just a few footsteps away from i40 .

I have to tell you, I don’t venture too often to Elk city Oklahoma or that area. With that said, I was relieved to find this little jewel of a Mexican restaurant. It’s conveniently located right across the street from the Elk City Holiday Inn Express (A clean and efficient place to stay for overnight business trips).
Pros:
– Wonderful chips. Not too thick not too thin and a very good flavor
– salsa is wonderful, and they provide a very generous portion of salsa
– Also had their guacamole, which was also very good.
– I had their chicken soup. This seems to be a Spanish version of a traditional chicken soup. It’s extremely hearty and very very good.
– Generous portions of food, very fresh and tasty.
Cons:
– The margarita I had really wasn’t that good. It wasn’t bad, but I’ve had much better at numerous other Mexican restaurants I’ve eaten that. I didn’t bring it to the tension of the waiter, because I don’t roll that way. Nor did I hold it against him because he was a good man, And I will have a margarita again when I return. Maybe it was just an off night for the bartender.
In closing, if I find myself in elk city, you can bet that I will be eating here as much as possible.

It was pretty busy when i visited. I decided to try the cowboy fajitas. I’m not a fan of bacon but decided to try it anyways. Lots of bacon on it. I think i found 2 mushrooms so i was rather disappointed in that.
Asked for corn tortillas, i got flour.
The food was good, minus the bacon. I cant hold that against them. The corn tortillas i can, 4 stars.
Chips n salsa were ok. Very mild salsa.
Reasonable portions and great price. Way cheaper than where I live!

Really nice Mexican restaurant. Clean. Nice decorations add to the experience.
Chile Colorado, Carnita Verde, 3 Fajitas Enchiladas were all delicious. Meat and sauces have lots of flavor. The Botana was an amazing side item with just a bit of a kick.

OMG!! What a wonderful dinning experience!!, We get to travel all over the USA and Canada for our job, and we ALWAYS, ALWAYS, try to eat Local, and eating here at El Patio was a memorable one, some of the Best service we have had, The FOOD IS TOP NOTCH!!! The dinning room is a feast for the eyes, And the Service is Great, We Highly Recommend, you will not be disappointed, Loved It!!
