Definitely give this place a try! Friendly staff and delicious burritos – get em wet. The meat is very tender, the salsas and sauces have big time flavor and kick when you want it. Lots of tvs on the patio if you like that, but also open air if you don’t.
Margs are wine-based, not full on tequila (But I don’t think you’ll notice.)

The food was amazing, the service was great. The patio and dinning room were close for some reason, but it didn’t matter I got my food to go. My friend told me about this place. I was just in the area for work, but I’d definitely recommend this place!

I really enjoyed this place. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. This was my first time here but definitely won’t be my last. My hubby had the menudo. He said it was heavenly. I had a veggie quesadilla that was very good. I also had a cheese enchilada (which was average). The also have a small parking lot which is always a plus.

This restaurant is one of the best when it comes to local Mexican food, Each time this place does not disappoint, with frequent weekly specials and a rotating menu. I have had multiple dishes from this establishment, each better than the last.

Our first visit and it was outstanding! Food, Service, and Ambiance was excellent! The waitress was super nice and very accommodating. I ordered a Paloma, and unfortunately, it was so bad for my taste. With no hesitation and a smile, she replaced my drink. I ordered the Strawberry Margarita, delicious! The Mariachi was wonderful, and the female vocalist was amazing. We ordered the grilled shrimp tacos, quesabirria tacos, and the chili verde plate. All fabulous. I definitely recommend it. Two thumbs up!

The nachos were BUSSIN! Not too heavy & not too light. Perfect chip to chicken ratio. The fried ice cream was really good too. This might be my new favorite spot. I can’t wait to come back and try some of the other things on the menu.

I stopped by driving from Porter Ranch to go visit some antique shops in Long Beach on a nice Sunday morning. I was too early, so I decided to look for a Mexican place. I was hungry for some old-fashioned Menudo. I’ve drove by the place, and it had such nice art decorations and plenty of seating for a bite to eat. I saw the menu, and it had a lot of stuff to choose from. I saw they had what I was looking for, so I sat down by the counter and waited for my meal to arrive. The food server was named Jessica. She was very kind and offered me what is popular in this nice cafe. I was so impressed with the servings. I was so content and happy. I also ordered a Modelo beer as they have the beer on tap or bottles. I highly recommend eating here as I will return to try out their tacos.

It had been about a year since I last ate at this restaurant. I used to come have breakfast here often bc I really liked the chilaquiles. The experience started off fine. But when I got my food and started eating I realized that that green sauce was especially spicy. I was confused bc I’ve had this dish before and had no issue with its spiciness but couldn’t make it past a few bites today. I ate everything else on the plate that did not have any green sauce on it. The waitress came by and asked if I was still eating to which I replied no and asked if they changed the sauce recipe bc it was far spicier than the last time I had it and could not finish the meal I ordered because of it. She said that the green sauce was the mildest one they have. I replied that I had it several times before and it was never this spicy. She shrugged her shoulder and repeated that it was the mildest one they make and everything’s else was spicier.
The impression I got was that she didn’t really care that I had an issue with the dish. So I decided not to continue sharing my concerns seemed that it wouldn’t change anything. To add to my frustrations there were a lot of flies on the patio. I expect there to be a few sometimes bc it’s outside but I was wondering if there was an open trash bag nearby because there were dozens of flies that kept landing on my head, the table, my plate (I had already stopped eating, and my coffee. It was not a good experience. I’m hoping this was just an off morning but I likely won’t be coming back for breakfast if the flavors are this inconsistent and the service experience is not good.

This restaurant is a such a great place! The food is bomb, the environment is awesome! They have live music on weekends and really good drinks! Check them out, you are missing out if you haven’t been here before. Try out their molcajetes, or some of their aguas frescas, don’t forget to also try their home made flan or tres leches cake…delicious!!! EL PATIO DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!!

Had a wonderful meal at El Patio. The chips and salsa were perfect. It’s hard to find a good California Burrito, and El Patio nailed it—good carne asada and the fries had a little crisp to them, just how I like them. We were glad to find this place and look forward to going back.
