El Patio is a colorful, lively, and fun place with an amazing atmosphere. The setting under the trees, paired with beautiful patio lights, creates such a warm and inviting vibe and perfect for a relaxed evening out. The outdoor patio truly stands out and adds so much charm to the experience.
We tried the watermelon margarita and mango margarita, both of which were my favorites. The watermelon margarita was especially refreshing and well-balanced. My daughter had the piña colada was good, though slightly on the sweeter side.
Really enjoyed their salsa collection, which had great variety and bold flavors. The vegetable tortilla soup tasted great, though the portion could have been a bit more for the price. The chicken taquitos were crispy and flavorful. The chile relleno was a little too cheesy for my preference, but it didn’t compromise the overall taste.
Overall, I would definitely recommend El Patio for its beautiful patio, great drinks, good food, and vibrant vibe. A lovely place to enjoy good company and atmosphere.

El Patio was a pleasant surprise! We got seated fairly quickly despite what appeared to be a long wait. Our server was super friendly, and the food tasted really good. My son got the Tacolgado (four birria & cheese street tacos) and the three of us adults split two fajita dishes. It was a lot of food. I would definitely go back.

* Second visit in a week. It’s a very good spot. The nachos had a good portion of carnitas on them . Could/should have been more guacamole. Great atmosphere, good place to watch the game.
Very good food here but no salt I can tell of in anything? The asada could be a bit better cuts or tenderized a bit more.
Great atmosphere, nice employees .
There are some great options here and awesome environment.

Anyone that puts less than 5 stars is a Karen. This place rocks. The bar is on point. Tried the shrimp and pepper appetizer and house made pico/salsa. Everything was just awesome. Elias is one of the most personable bar tenders ever. Awesome!

This is a great restaurant to chill out with family and friends, especially for drinks. But sadly to say, we didn’t care for the tacos we ordered. We couldn’t taste the steak over the chorizo and the steak was kind of tough. The refried beans was liquid and fell through the fork. You can probably sip it through a straw. The rice was also kind of bland. The guacamole had too much lime/lemon… way too tart. My wife hated the sour nopales and radish mix. Next time, if we visit, we will try something else. Besides the nice ambiance under the tree with cool decorations, the one thing I loved was my bottle of Negra Modelo!

We recently visited El Patio in Palm Springs to catch up with a friend we hadn’t seen in four years, and it was the perfect setting for a long-overdue reunion. The moment we arrived, the vibrant outdoor patio and lively atmosphere set the tone for a relaxed and fun evening. Whether you choose to sit under the shade of the trees or enjoy the warm desert air, the ambiance here is one of the highlights of the experience.

El Patio ended up being one of our favorite stops in Palm Springs. We came in for a casual drink and ended up staying for three rounds of margaritas because the atmosphere was just that good. The space is colorful, open, and relaxed without trying too hard. It feels like a place that knows exactly what kind of experience it wants to offer—good drinks, good food, and a patio that makes you want to linger.
I ordered the chicken and cheese quesadilla, which was simple but done really well. The tortilla had a crisp edge, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the chicken was flavorful without being dry. It came with fresh salsa that was probably the standout of the meal. Bright, spicy, and clearly made in-house. We ended up asking for more and used it on everything.
The margaritas were strong, well-balanced, and not too sweet. Each round was consistent, and they came out fast even though the place was busy. Our server was friendly and casual, which matched the vibe of the place. No pressure, no rush—just easy, attentive service.
If you’re in Palm Springs and want a spot to enjoy a laid-back afternoon with solid drinks, great chips and salsa, and a breezy outdoor setup, El Patio delivers. We’ll definitely be back.

I’ve been to Palm Springs several times as well as seeking out good Mexican food wherever I travel. El Patio is now tied for my top favourite of all time. Great food, great service, came recommended by locals and by servers at other restaurants! I will be back every time I’m in Palm Springs.

Left this place feeling obsessed! Food was all delicious, it is always nice to go to a Mexican restaurant that actually sells Mexican food. Their carne en su jugo was so good, we also got the aguachile (the red was very spicy so just be aware, green was less spicy) , ceviche Del Mar, everything was good, micheladas and drinks were great. The part that impressed me the most was the service, the owner and servers were all attentive and extremely welcoming. I love how friendly for groups this place is. When we tried to split the bill they were very helpful. They let us split in as many checks as we wanted and even assisted us by separating the totals. If more places were like this it wouldn’t be such a pain to go out to dine as a group. The patio is nice and fresh and the menu is pretty extensive so if you’re in a large group everyone can find something they like.
