Ordered some Biria Tacos to go. The food was quite good, decently price, but took a little long to make (but I suppose it is a testament to how fresh it was otherwise). I would definitely recommend ordering ahead and picking up if you have the option. Small little place with a few tables that just has a feel of authentic Mexican street food and that’s part of what calls me back to want to try more. The one major downside beside the longish wait is the parking, maybe the worst parking lot known to man, but the food is worth the hassle.

This place deserves a zero star but I don’t have the choice.. my fiancé and I we called this place ordered 5 pupusas of cheese. And they made it cheese with pork. The pupusas look horrible, the smell is terrible as well. Like how can You eat this… we pay 17.00 for this?????? I don’t care about the price. But This place need to learn how to cook. Horrible experience!! Stay away from This place order your pupusas or your food somewhere else!!!!…. First time ordering food from this place, never again…. $17 straight to the garbage……..

I have ordered from here several times. There birria tacos and Colombian empanadas are my favorite. However, on 04/20 I ordered birria tacos, Colombian empanadas and horchata and while eating my empanada I bit into a rubber band. I was very hesitant to write this because I love the restaurant and I know people may discredit this review because what are the odds of a rubber band being in your food? But it was there and I was shocked. I truly do not know how that could’ve happened.

Found this little place today and what a great surprise it was so close to home…steak birria tacos. Ommmmmg, if you never had this kind of taco or just haven’t had one recently, go get you some. I promise you, you will be licking your fingers and coming back. Yes, a little pricey, but you get a big portion (3 thick, stuffed tacos) and on the side, its special seasoned dipping sauce, green tomato sauce, and hot sauce. So, soooooo good!!

I usually only leave good reviews for places but this place is ridiculous… Food was too salty the first time I went and was seasoned oddly (I got mixed tacos). I went this time and got mixed tacos again (beef/pork/chicken) and it wasn’t as salty but flavors were soooo off AGAIN. All meats were dry and there was a LOT of fat on the pork – not the fat you want, the bad pieces. Tres leeches was mediocre, fried sweet plantain was barely sweet and VERY oily and the one CHICKEN empanada I ordered which was $3 was a weird mix of corn meal and what looked like shredded BEEF). $29 for that order was a LOT when the food was seriously not good. The lady was nice though and place looked clean enough. Def not going back.

The WORST birria tacos I’ve ever had. The VERY little meat that come on the tacos is dry and has no flavor. They don’t coat the corn tortillas in the birria juice that the birria meat is cooked in (like traditional birria tacos). They put like 3 shreds of meat with a ton of idk what kind of cheese, but it’s gooey and tastes disgusting. The side of birria juice for dipping that comes with the tacos is watery, bland, and they give very little. The location in farmingdale has the best birria tacos I’ve ever had. That location gives 5x the meat and are FILLED WITH FLAVOR. Order from there and don’t waste your money at this location.

Not a fancy place but the food is fantastic. Great tacos and very authentic. Hot food is always available and they are even open for breakfast. If you like Latin food you will love the food here.
