To me…. This place was amazing and had a great atmosphere. If you remember ponchos Mexican restaurant and wanted to find a place that had that flavor of taco then look no further. This is now my go to place for this style cuisine in the Shreveport area. I did spend 20 to 30 per person but that includes an appetizer as well.

As soon as we walked in they sat us in a corner all the way to the back. It took 25 minutes for someone to come and take our drink order. This was after I said something. I asked for the manager. He came over with a lame excuse. It was obvious that they had no intention on waiting on us. We left.
We went to Ramirez on Mansfield Road. Much better experience and they were crowded.

A great experience ! I don’t even know what this dish is called – Popa Loca?? a huge baked potato filled with grilled steak, shrimp, and chicken, plus onions and queso. You NEED to try this!!

WOW, what a great place to eat.
Chips and salsa where delicious. Burrito meal was generous and tasty. Nachos Supreme are perfect. We had to take half our meals home, they were so generous.

We came to El Paso Mexican Grill by mistake…but there was no mistake coming here. The service is great, the food is the BEST Mexican food I’ve had in a long time of checking out restaurants. My wife had the Carne Asada and I had the Birria Tacos. By far the BEST restaurant meal I’ve had a very long time.
This is our GoTo restaurant for when we come to Shreveport.
