A lively and fun atmosphere on a busy night, lots of groups, some couples, and live music.
We liked the music a lot.
The waitress was attentive, stopping by the table every few minutes to ask if we needed anything and to say that the thing we were waiting for should be out in a few minutes. She also would tell us that it’s busy, would apologize, and cheerfully tell us again that the thing we were waiting for would be out soon. Very attentive, though perhaps stopping by less to apologize and more to bring the things we were waiting for more would be a better experience A little training would probably solve that.
We also had to endure a loud and profane bunch of drunks at the next table. Maybe that’s okay here, but we didn’t enjoy it. When there are guests shouting f*k and pounding on the table drunk, I think maybe quit serving shots and invite them to leave.
The appetizer sampler plate was pretty bad. We got fajitas that were much better, but they didn’t make up for the bad sampler plate.
Overall this experience wasn’t as enjoyable as our first visit. Not sure if we’ll be back either. There are so many good restaurants around here, a 3 star experience isn’t good enough to come back for.

My husband and I were greeted and seated immediately. Great food, nice atmosphere and cold beer! Service was great, staff was very friendly. Waitress was very attentive, receipt says Maria. First time at El Paso Mexican Grill, will definitely return.

I ordered to go. Easy to see entrance to right of main entrance with “To Go” on the wall. Wait was short. A look around is very vibrant and pleasant with plenty of artistic murals to gaze upon. Will be taking family when they’re in town. Took a leap of faith and checked food when I got home. Everything was as requested! Plenty of plastic ware without request. Even given a sample of their jalapeño sauce “spicy” and habanero sauce “very omg spicy” The beans are a little different but tasty, and rice gets better with every bite. The portions and quality are fair for the price. The Strawberry or Mango margaritas are delicious “on the rocks” haven’t tried frozen or Lime flavored yet. The red salsa needs some work. I hope to see a side of spicy elote in the future as well as charro beans. We’d normally frequent Del Pueblo but the thought of another order gone wrong with a lack of care is past us and I’m glad I have a new place thats close by to enjoy. The to go server, (Edwin) was very attentive and friendly. Looking forward to a dine out experience as well “coming soon”.

We visited this place when it first opened & fell in love with the food. I’ve tried a multitude of things from the menu and I’ve been pleased with each dish. My favorite dish from here has changed over time, but the one thing that’s stayed consistent has been the flavor of the food & the delicious fajita beef! So good! The margaritas & martinis are good as well!

Ordered the queso with ground beef, combination “H” and a Pina colada. The restaurant is very nice. Well kept and very beautiful. Service was TOP NOTCH. I liked everything. Only thing I didn’t care too much for was the sauce on the enchiladas but it wasn’t enough to keep me from eating it lol. It was a little sweet. All in all really enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely recommend trying it out.

The food was great, service exceptional, and the ambiance was very relaxing. There was a live performer that night, and the volume was perfect. The manager/ owner checked in on us a few times, and our waiter Ermil was very attentive. My picky eater son could not get enough of the black bean dip.
Will definitely be returning next time we visit Houstin. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic dinner and we loved social distancing dining in the parking lot. We walked over from Chili’s because they had a 45 minute wait, so glad we did! Walked right in and a hostess came to meet us, we had a table outside and a live DJ playing fun music. The food was delicious and we were very happy to be there. Great job by all!

The longer and longer we sit here waiting for a water refill, to go boxes or just anyone to pay attention, the more the stars go down.
Even with the handful of problems, they had a chance to redeem themselves.
For crying out loud—fill any empty water glass or pay attention to us, or even give us a bill.
They started out with four stars. Then the puréed salsa came out.
And the drink we didn’t order came out.
Then another drink we didn’t order came out.
Water glass runs dry.
Food comes out.
Wrong beans.
Wrong a la carté dish.
Waiting for right beans.
When the right beans finally came out they were delicious.
Chile relleno tasted freshly cooked.
Still would’ve liked to have known what their chalupa tasted like.
I guess I never will…
Then the manager throws new girl under the bus.
Sad all around.

My mom and I went for a drink and a few appetizers. The table side guacamole was delicious and the sampler plater had a few tasty moments. All in all they have several Margarita options and it was a spacious and clean. Service was slow.

The Manager and staff where great , My waitress Roxanne was attentive friendly and polite. My Wife and I had drinks , and appetizer’s outdoors on the great patio area! The atmosphere is calm , cool nice music and great new furniture! Menu’s are well written , and please try the sampler appetizer! Awesome!!! Beautiful new place! And great tasting food after work , is a can’t miss!
