We eat here every Fri. night. We usually eat on the patio outside because karaoke starts at 6pm. Service is great, food is great. Carne asada fries and a nice glass of Bogle wine.

I have been to this location 3/4 times. Every time I go back it gets better and better! People from all lifestyles and tax brackets visit this location. The quality and quantity of the food is fantastic. It’s actually the best place I’ve ever had Carne Asada. That’s says a lot about the taste of the foods here. They also have quite a LARGE menu with a great salsa bar. My personal favorite is the Asada fries with everything on top! It can feed three people and they would be stuffed.

The best part about this place? The staff! They have the most wonderful hospitality and go the second and third mile for their customers. Once you walk in, you’re all comrades and family here. Everyone enjoys a great meal with good people.

The food was AMAZING! The service not so great. The cashier was dry, didn’t smile it was like she was irritated that we were there. I ordered a glass of white zinfandel (which was on the menu) for $7.99 (for a glass of Boggle) and was served a white wine. The prices were average and the taco Tuesday special $1.75 each were full of meat and cilantro and onions. After the vibe I’m not sure if I would dine in again but I would order takeout.

The food was really good, and you can pretty much pick anything at random and still be satisfied. The dishes come out quickly, yet they’re well cooked. The kebabs in particular stand out — better than those at many fancy restaurants, with great flavor and quality ingredients. This place is definitely worth a stop.

Well, it’s Sunday May 25, 2025 (FYI, that’s 05 25 2025 which is cool if you like numbers as I do). And I arrived at about 5 minutes after 5 pm (so numerically I’m just geeking out, but enough about all that). I had just dropped off some e-waste at the NARS (thank you Sacramento, for making that recycling both free and convenient on a Sunday), and I hungered. Google identified this place when I sought “tacos near me” as I left NARS.
I arrived and parked. Enough parking for the attendance, but it wasn’t crowded. I stood for several minutes scanning the menu, and then ordered what I almost always default to–two steak tacos, and some nachos. Let’s unpack that.
Now, I often end up at another well known place, that I’ll just call “JaneGirls.” At “JaneGirls” that order is easily consumed quickly because it’s not really a lot of food there. Not so at El Parion, my dear reader-eater.
The tacos. I specified crispy which was 1.50 more than “regular,” which interestingly brought the price to exactly what I pay for a steak taco at “JaneGirls.” Here is the El Parion approach: Take two crispy corn tortilla shells, and apparently challenge two workers in the back to see which of them can stuff the most grilled beef slices into the shells until nothing else fits inside, then hide the packed shells under lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole, and ground parm cheese–and …. serve. The shells were both crispy and crunchy. (I couldn’t tell whether they were fried versus baked, but I have a strong policy of not asking caloric questions when I’m enjoying myself and the answer isn’t going to change my conduct.). Delicious.
The nachos. Well, just as I was wrapping up the tacos, the super nachos arrived. Chips, meat, cheese, pickled jalapenos, pico, sour cream (hold the beans please). I had requested grilled chicken as the meat. Now, I only have one misgiving, and that is my fault. I’m ok-ish with chicken breast but definitely don’t love it, so I really should have asked if I could get grilled dark meat instead. But I still loved the nachos. But alas, my love could only last a short while, in that after three bites I was stuffed. That is not what happens at “JaneGirls.” Different quantities of food altogether.
So, with a full tummy I carried the nearly full plate of nachos to the front. With a knowing smile (this clearly isn’t the first time eyes exceeded stomach at this establishment) the nice gentleman asked, “To go?” And I smiled and nodded profusely. He put it in a to go container and I drove home contemplating how the nachos will become the base for some breakfast dish involving a very hot nonstick skillet and incorporating scrambled eggs and spicy salsa.
I’ll be back. I don’t care that it’s more than 15 miles from home.

Would be four but they gave me the wrong item I paid for.

Super delicious. Fresh. And quick to receive your meal. Fresh chips not store bought with four different salsa to choose from their salsa bar. Indoor, outdoor & takeout. Plenty of parking. Their to go menu and posted menu have different prices so go on the menu I’ve posted. The rice and beans are cooked with meat broth. They accept cash and card.

Overall not too bad, the jumbo tripa burrito I ordered was delicious but a bit too much pico de gallo filling. Tacos were good as well, the salsa bar with chips if you’re dining in is nice to have. overall I’d recommend if you’re in the area.

First time coming here every time I pass by on the way home this place is always packed so I told myself I definitely to come and try it out I thought it was pretty good the staff was pretty friendly and kind I did notice one staff member drinking a twisted tea (alcoholic beverage) so that was a little strange but hey different owners different rules they have the free chip bar and salsas I got a regular burrito with Al pastor I thought the al pastor was good and nice and Smokey I tried their avocado salsa was very good and fresh tasting wash it down with the ice cold Corona .Everybody there speaks English and Spanish so don’t be intimidated
Thanks for taking the time to read my short review
