Located on Decker Boulevard in Columbia, South Carolina, this restaurant is my favorite SPOT for Authentic Mexican cuisine. The staff were friendly and helpful as always. I drive past this restaurant often. Finally decided to grab a bite. I dropped in around 1pm hoping to miss the lunch rush. Quiet atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. Restaurant was clean and the service was fast. Ordered a combination plate for $9.99 and wasn’t disappointed. Food was fresh and hot, sweet tea was delicious, and the cheese dip was satisfying. I would’ve had photos of the food but the plate was clean before that happened so take my word for it

I really want to love this place. Some of the food is fantastic, but on two visits, some things did not turn out well. Thus, I have dropped my rating to a 3 star.
Hirachata is a common Hispanic rice based drink, sweet and cinnamony.
The Arroz con Pollo was magnificent, and was the star of my first visit.
First visit of the 4 Enchillada combo, the meats were dry.
Visit two, the #1 combo of beef enchilada was good, but we ordered cheese. For some, this mistake would have been dreadful.
The chips they make are awesome, home made, as well as their sauce.
The a-la-carte cheese quesadilla was nice and toasty.
I will try visit number three, in hopes of seeing better works.
I think their loud music, is hurting their quality.

The food we ordered was at its absolute best in taste and quality. We were served by Gustavo a cheerful lad who made us a stunning virgin pina colada. great ambience and cheerful servers. Had a great break while driving towards Virginia, Will visit again anytime in Columbia SC.

Easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in Columbia. The salsa was so delicious, I ate an entire basket of chips by myself. I ordered the chicken fajitas and I added shrimp. Hands down one of the best fajitas I have ever had! Everything was seasoned to perfection. I went to another Mexican restaurant today just to rest my theory, and I was highly disappointed from the runny salsa to the bland chicken fajita! But, I wanted to make sure I was right before I wrote this review! I will be back here again. I can’t even waste my time going anywhere else.

Went there because of the reviews.. but i was sorely disappointed. I heard that the South had great mex food, and this place did not live up to it. I mean.. that says something when your hotsauce is bland and you get tacos with only letuce for veggies.
