We were in the neighborhood and stopped by for some amazing Colombian food. We got a table right away and the staff was welcoming and helpful with recommendations. The portions were generous and the flavors were delicious. I wish we lived closer, but we’ll definitely be back if we’re in the neighborhood again.

Ari is an amazing server and the way she makes drinks!!!! Bomb! Very welcoming atmosphere. I always grab the shrimp and rice meal. The empanadas and arepa!!! Get some and it will change your life. Delicious!! Must try.

Delicious, flavor filled, fresh food! It truly is a hidden gem. The atmosphere was welcoming and the restaurant it self was clean. I ordered the grilled chicken, I expected just chicken and rice and I got that along with fries, plantains and salad topped with “paraiso dressing” which was very tasty! The sauce on the chicken was different type not sure what but it was filled with flavors and the meat was grilled to perfection.

Such great flavors and HUGE portions! My girl is a big Encanto fan, but we live in a pretty monocultural area. So when we visited for a wedding and I saw there was an authentic Colombian restaurant within walking distance, we went for it and were not disappointed! Arepas con todo were awesome and my girl was a fan of her “chicken and fries”. My sancocho with ribs was so good, too – a great choice for people who love a strong cilantro flavor!

It is absolutely the best cuisine you can ever find and an even better experience dining in. The waitresses were very welcoming and attentive; all while greeting all guests that opened the door to come in. The food was amazing and the portions are more than generous. The owner is very affable and personal. He made time to greet me and my family and check if everything was ok. The ambience was very nostalgic. Made me feel like I was at home. There are only two times you write a lengthy review like this: whether it was really good or really bad and this was by far really good. If you are looking for good food (Colombian or other wise) and a good place to sit down, Paraiso Colombiano is the place to go.
