El Paraíso is an amazing place to eat! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Every dish we’ve tried has been delicious, and the portions are generous for the price. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick even when they’re busy. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for enjoying a great meal with family or friends. If you’re in South Haven and craving great Mexican food, El Paraíso is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!

This place is absolutely a gem in town, and the food is AMAZING! We ordered two tacos, one steak fajita, and a menudo, and everything was tasty and served in a good portion. My family especially enjoyed the menudo: the broth was rich and spicy; the beef tripe was soft and flavorful.

The chicken tacos were absolutely the best around! I had the steak and onions with rice and beans and unfortunately, three quarters of the steak was all fat and gristle and inedible. The flavor was spot on delicious though. We sat outside at a dirty table that we brushed off to dine at. We will try again another time and hope for a higher rating all across the board.

So overall it was good, but not a good place to go to if you are hungry. It took just over 40 minutes for my food to come out. It was delicious but knowing how long to expect for the food would have been good going in. The seating is a bit scattered but enough for families. Overall a good place to go to when you have time to kill and get good food. Just don’t come here if you are already very hungry or in a rush.

We wanted to come here to support a South Haven local business. I also like that the owners run the place, and they are so friendly and accommodating. We have food allergies, and we were able to eat here safely. The food could use a little zest, but overall we liked it. My son especially loved his half dozen pork tamales!

We ordered 10 pastor and 10 steak tacos with rice and beans to go. The place was packed, so it took a little while to get our food—but it was absolutely worth the wait! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The lady at the counter who took our order was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely a hidden gem in South Haven—we’ll be back next time we’re in town!
