We went on a Friday evening and there was almost no one there. Yet it still took them an hour to get us the two tacos I ordered, my daughter’s quesadilla and fries, and one order of chips and salsa. My husband ordered one of the sampler plates and it never came because the waitress never put it in. That was not the only part of the order that was wrong. The food was meh. My beans and rice were cold but my the meal for my toddler was scalding hot. It’s such a shame because this place has so much potential and we were so excited to try it after our friends raved about it. Hopefully this was just a one time issue but I don’t think we will be back.

Super friendly staff that helped me out. The location is very clean and has a great atmosphere. I ordered the #2 Quesabirria sample and it was very flavorful. The portion sizes are generous. This place is a must visit for taco lovers.

The star of the show was undoubtedly the Queso-Pollo Red Tacos. These were packed with flavorful chicken and ample, gooey queso (cheese), served hot on corn tortillas. The “red” in the name refers to the rich, savory chili oil coating the tortilla, which provides an incredible depth of flavor. Topped traditionally with fresh cilantro and onion, these tacos were fantastic on their own.
What elevates this plate is the accompanying Mini Red Consommé. This rich broth is tailor-made for dipping the tacos—it adds moisture, intensifies the flavor, and makes every bite a savory, messy delight. This combination is highly recommended for anyone visiting.

Family owned and operated this establishment is amazing. Very warm atmosphere and the customers service is top notch. The flavors of the different tacos are delicious. If you are not familiar with these type of tacos please open your experiences, you will find many options that are very tasty. So glad we have this restaurant in Woodbridge just off I95 on rt234. Should of taken photo before digging in but my taste buds got ahead of me.

It’s finally open! Despite some technical difficulties during the soft opening, the staff was all friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make my dining experience great. The decor is awesome, with beautiful murals (!!) and some industrial design elements. There’s also plenty of seating for various sized groups. Most importantly, they have some of the best tacos I’ve had in a hot minute!! They’re currently serving chicken and birria (brisket) tacos, 2 for $10. The meat was so flavorful and juicy, and the cheese was all melty, gooey. Plus, I loved the sauces. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to support this business with more visits in the future!

Did a Google search while passing by Dumfries and this place was the suggestion. The atmosphere is really nice. They had great music playing. We had the Birria Pizza, which came with consome, radish and cucumber slices, elotes locos, churros and fries. The fries were so delicious and crispy. I left the place wanting more. The pizza was great, the meat was tender, the cheese was gooey. The only thing is that it tasted a bit sweet. I don’t like savory foods to taste sweet, but that is just my preference. Overall it was a great Birria Pizza. We also had horchata in this cool pouches, so so good. Will definitely be coming back to try other items on their menu.

Checked out El Papi Street Tacos and Ref Birria Tacos in Dumfries with some dudes since they just opened, and we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Taco Pizza, Elotes, Beef Tongue Taco, and some other stuff.
The Taco Pizza was the standout! super cheesy, well-seasoned, and loaded with meat. The dipping sauce could use some work, but honestly, the pizza is great on its own. The Beef Tongue Taco was a bit over-seasoned, but still banging (tongue was crunchy outside and moist on the inside) I’d give it an 7 out of 10.
The vibe is immaculate, with stylish decor that makes the place feel welcoming. Prices are a little on the higher side for what you get, but I’d still come back to hang out and try more!
