I have been to this restaurant more times than I can count. The restaurant is clean neat with super comfortable booths. The wait staff is phenomenal, nothing falls through their fingers. Now to the food one word describes it, unforgettable. I am not just talking about one item, I am talking them all of them and I haven’t even gotten the chips and salsa yet. Just sitting here writing this is making my stomach rumble and mouth water. I don’t usually recommend an entrée but you have to try the Basil Chicken, oh my! Now to the chips, I can’t get enough of them even when I can’t move. If you live in the neighborhood and haven’t gone, what are you waiting for? Definitely missing out. Stop in you will fall in love too.

Tonight is Cinco de Mayo. Me and my best friend went to another Mexican restaurant, we were seated near the kitchen and 15 minutes later still weren’t acknowledged, we left. As always we knew at El Palmer we have always had excellent service& food so we went there. We put in our name, walked to the bar and IMMEDIATELY were drinking a margarita! This is by far the best restaurant in Carmichael! Thank you to the entire family & staff!
