I had a great time at this new Palenque Pizzeria Cubana location. I think it has a lot of promise, especially since Okeechobee Road and the areas around it are being modernized.
The region is getting better, which will probably make this place even more appealing, even now you can fetch very nice sunsets here. Their Cuban pizza and smoothies with tropical fruit are really great.
I summary the food is great, the atmosphere is nice, it’s one of the few new franchises that I know lets you sit down and eat, most locations only let you pick up your and delivery. I think this place is already amazing and will get more better soon.

I had a really disappointing experience at El Palenque Pizzeria in Medley. The pizza was horrible — bland and just not enjoyable at all. I also tried the mamey shake, and it was the worst I’ve ever had. It had no flavor and didn’t even taste like mamey. Definitely not coming back.

The worst thing I’ve ever tried, my daughter ordered a hamburger with mushrooms, bacon, and onions. She only got cheese and onions, and her fries needed bacon. She only got cheese. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a cheese pizza, we were the first ones and everyone else but us got their food. We never got the ham and Hawaiian pizza. The nastiest thing ever and I don’t recommend this to anyone, not even my worst enemies. The worker messed up our order. I regret giving tips. Way too expensive for all that wait. If you’re hungry and you want to go out to eat. Don’t go here unless you want the worst experience of your life.

To the owner or manager: be aware that you need another person in the counter, only one person is not enough to give a good service, I ordered online and after my order I’m waiting almost 35 minutes, the pizza is not hot, and to many persons waiting to get their order, it’s not the girl from the counter, it’s the management of the service

The ham pizza is made with ground ham, it is not pleasant to look at. The cutlery is made of very cheap plastic and bends when trying to cut the pizza. On the other hand, the absorbent for the shake is very thin, which makes it difficult to eat the shake. The pizza is good, not the best but it’s okay, the best is the milkshake, which is spectacular.

Today I got delivery from this restaurant. But I didn’t order them so I called back to the restaurant to let them know who ever order this they didn’t get their food. The lady answer my phone I speak in English with her try to let her know. And she was so rude she just said she don’t speak English and hang up on me just like that. You should change the one who answered the phone.
