I was thoroughly disappointed from the moment I stepped inside. There was no warm greeting or welcoming from the staff. They seemed quite bothered, even when I was trying to place my order. If I had any questions, they simply dismissed me, saying, “You don’t see, we’re out.” The customer service was absolutely awful.
The food was also disappointing. It was average, and I found it way better than the Cuban pizzas I’ve had in Miami. The crust was very thin and unappetizing. As a Cuban who doesn’t live in Miami, I came to try this place, but I was thoroughly disappointed. I won’t be returning, and I highly recommend against this place for Cuban pizzas.

The service is consider fast and dynamic considering the type of food. The place is inside a gas station, and there is no much waiting room. They give a buzzer to the customers, so they know when the order is ready for pick up. The food is tasty, and well cooked. The shakes are amazing, prepared with ice cream and milk, whipped cream is optional. This place is recommended if you want to enjoy a good cuban style pizza, spaghetti and a delicious shake (chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, guava, mamey, and so on). The place is clean and organized, the attention very professional.

We love el palenque pizzas, but our 2 years old boy is in love. First time we took him to el palenque we order a ham, bacon and sausage pizza for the 3 of us. We were surprised of how much he liked it. A week later we order from dominos cause it was heavily raining, he tried it but didn’t like it. After that we went to el palenque again and we were surprised of how he remembered the place, he even remembered the pizza box, it was really funny and we realized the only pizzas he likes are the ones from el palenque. After that day we are usuals, pizza is pretty good and we love seeing our little boy satisfaction face every time we order
