This place has the BEST Mexican food around. We’ve gone 4 times in the last month which is a lot for us. Margaritas are amazing, food is top notch. We’ve gone with adults and sat at the bar and gone with our young girls and sat in the dining room. Super family friendly. Highly recommend the nachos, chicken wings, and birria tacos. If you haven’t tried it, you should.

I had such an amazing experience at El Palenque in Royersford! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, lively, and welcoming. The music was great — it really set the perfect vibe and made the whole experience feel fun and authentic.
The food was absolutely incredible. The shrimp dish we ordered was beautifully presented and packed with flavor — perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked just right. You can truly taste the freshness and care put into every bite. Everything looked amazing and tasted even better!
On top of that, the staff was so friendly and attentive. They made us feel comfortable, checked in often, and provided excellent service with a smile.

We had a rare date night and finally was able to try El Palenque! Loved the atmosphere, our server was great and the food phenomenal! And can’t forget that margarita! We’ve been wanting to find a good local Mexican restaurant and lucky us it’s in walking distance. We will absolutely be back!

Went for dinner last night with friends and it was 10/10! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and the original margarita was one of the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be going back soon. The food we ordered included the nachos, birria tacos, enchiladas and T-bone steak platter. All were delicious! The birria was incredible, could have drank the consommé!

El Palenque is fire! Food is Incredible. Drinks are unbelievable. They have Modelo and Dos XX on Tap. Prices are so pleasantly reasonable. And the staff are Lovely. Liz is one of the nicest people you’ll meet behind the bar! If you haven’t been yet. Do yourself a favor and have dinner here.

Went here for the first time tonight for dinner, the atmosphere inside was surprisingly bright and clean and very pleasant. The food was terrific, including dessert. Our waitress was extremely nice and helpful. Will definitely be returning again soon.

Visited for the first time today. Our waiter and the entire staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and inviting, and had some nice music playing.
My husband had the shrimp tacos, and I had the vegetarian burrito (modified order without mushrooms). We both loved our meals. We also ordered the Choco Loco cake to share for dessert… it was delicious! It’s the first chocolate cake I’ve ever liked!
We will definitely be repeat customers. ☺️

First visit. Food was fantastic. Margaritas were excellent. Service was super attentive.
My only complaint (and this is minimal), is that the menu does not detail the ingredients of each dish. I asked the server to explain a few meals and he was not able to describe them in enough detail.
