El Paisa restaurant has the best food, we had the beef sancocho and empanadas to start with and it was so delicious. Everything was freshly made from scratch. Then we had the whole fried fish, it was very flavorful, fresh and well done. To end we had the coffee and tres leche cake. While eating Maria, Miguel and Isabella would come around and check on us to make sure everything was fine. Always attentive, fast and with a smile.

We chose El Paisa today out many choices during Central Falls Restaurant Week. We had no experience with Columbian food and were a little intimidated as our command of the language was nil. The place was super clean, the staff was welcoming and put their best effort into communicating effectively with us. Our cordial, attentive waiter was named ? Davey. The vibe was not hectic. The food was beyond excellent, plentiful and well presented. My plate had slow cooked beef, rice, salad, potato and new to me,plantain and cassava. The meal was topped off with a choice of flan, tres leches or chocolate torte, everyone in our party ordered a different selection, they were all heavenly tasting,so generous that we all took some home to finish later. It was busy and appeared to have a large take out business.Highly recommend, we will return.

Isabella & Maria are the best servers here!! They are attentive, kind, punctual and have positive attitudes. There service is exceptional!! I have been coming here since my son Kadrian has been inside my belly. Now he is 12 years old! This is our family’s favorite place to eat!! You will not be disappointed! The food and drinks are spectacular!

This place deserves a Michelin star. You’ll have to rely on pointing and google translate if you don’t speak Spanish but don’t let this deter you. The food is so authentic and fresh and the plates are huge. I drive around an hour to get here and it’s very worth it. They don’t have avocados, but they allow you to bring your own!

I’ve visited El País a handful of times over the past 30 years and it’s been great to watch its journey—from humble beginnings to the modern, welcoming space it is today. The new patio area looks fantastic.

This spot has always been a local staple, even attracting celebrities to make stops when passing through. I’m in town visiting, and my uncle insisted on treating me. Judging by his interactions with the staff, he’s clearly a regular. The team was gracious, accommodating, and shared some friendly banter that added to the experience.

I appreciated the expanded menu and ordered the mini bandeja with churrasco—delicious. Since I don’t eat Colombian food often, the flavors really stood out to me. My uncle ordered a liter of Colombiana soda, which instantly brought back childhood memories and a sense of reconnecting with my heritage.

Overall, it was a quiet but very pleasant experience on a cold Sunday afternoon. I felt compelled to leave this review to support a long-standing community establishment and to let others know that El País is still here, still serving great food, and still worth the visit.

Came for a 70th birthday party. The food was phenomenal. 10 out of 10 the empanadas and pastel was definitely the best I have had in a while. Very attentive service. Will definitely be back

Restaurant had cold atmosphere, gratuity was automatically added by server himself who by the way provided poor service (we were a party of 4 people) and was not personable at all. The wait time was at least a half hour if not more.
