Amazing place! Nice little eatery, with good options, good prices, and now serving beer. I’ve stopped in a few time now, and each time the food and service has been excellent.

Very delicious food. I had carne asada and it was delicious. It came with grilled jalapenos. Steak was tender. Rice very tasty. The inside of the place looks updates but you can’t tell from the outside.

El pacifico is a staple in syracuse. We love them and love to support them. The service is phenomenal. Very personable and easily understood. The food was top notch and the complimentary chips and salsa were a nice treat. Very well maintained place. With rumors that they may be dabbling in breakfast soon! This place trumps all competition in syracuse.

The trip to El Pacifico started with several birdies in my ear. As a long time customer at Los torritos (just down the road from El Pacifico) I have been very skeptical about trying a similar restaurant in the same town. Although, recently many individuals have voiced to me on how good (and potentially more superior) El Pacifico is compared to Los Torritos.
So I thought maybe I should give it a try, I WAS STARVING and ready to chow. I should inform you that my sweet girlfriend was BEGGING for Kyomi’s and the delicious Philadelphia Roll and I told her no several times before she agreed to try El Pacifico with me. It should be noted that she is a huge fan of Los Torritos as well.
Soooo into El Pacifico we go!
I believe that when you sit down at a Mexican restaurant you should be greeted with chips and salsa, am I wrong? Try 20 minutes later… Totally understandable if you are slammed packed. There was 3 total tables (including us). I also ordered Chorizo Queso, took approximately 40 minutes to receive that item. Mind you we were out of chips for an extended period of time as well. Compared to Los Torritos… The worst Chorizo Queso I’ve ever had. It should be noted that I am a huge fan of Chorizo Queso and I’ve had quite the experience with that specific item. At some point in between all the madness and frustration we had ordered our food. We have been at the restaurant for approximately an hour or more at this point and have only received one round of salsa and chips. 1 hour plus and counting we received our food. We went simple with our orders, did not want to overdue it. We both had California quesadillas. My girlfriend advised the server that she wanted rice but no beans. What did the server bring? Beans and no rice. Surprisingly my order was correct.
We were never offered a refill on our water. We were never asked/checked on. Prices were significantly more expensive than Los Torittos. Los Torittos has better quality food, better service, and more affordable prices. You make the decision on where you would like to eat!
Side note: the booths are tight! Sit at a table or forever hold your peace. (and back pain)
Another side note: Listen to your girlfriend.
One more side note: LOS TORRITOS IS SUPERIOR!

My partner and I don’t eat out often but when we do, we prefer the comfort and convenience of el pacifico. Living in syracuse you are limited in dining options. However El pacifico is definitely worth the trip. We ordered birria tacos and steak tacos( a classic) both of which were very tasty and well plated. Our server was fast and friendly! She actually remembered us from one of our other visits. Very good menu and food options. Would love them to make a facebook page so we can share the love with our friends and family. We are really hoping they do breakfast. Syracuse is dying for a worthy breakfast place.

Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and amazing service! The chips are served nice and warm. They are not too thick, and the salsa is fantastic! I ordered the combination plate with beef enchilada and a tamale. The red pork tamale is phenomenal. The MASA is not too thick, it’s very nice and moist, and plenty of meat. Also topped with a ground meat, red sauce that is a very unique spin on a traditional tamale. I added a Pastor taco for $2.99 and it was full of meat as well. This is the best place around here for quality and price.!
