EDITED** To respond to your idiotic reply.
I adjusted it to 10 (forgive me, I said 12, off by two) I think we got your shitty desert.. I also changed the cost to $400/pp. whcih is basically what it came out to USD after tip, tax.
To say I’m lying when I posted pictures of my meal at your restaurant is a wild choice.
EVEN FURTHER REASON TO NOT GO HERE
The food was exceptional from start to finish. Every dish was packed with flavour and clearly made with high quality ingredients. You could tell a lot of care went into each plate. On top of that, the views in Deià added another layer to the experience. Sitting there, taking it all in, made the meal feel even more special.
They nailed everything so well that we honestly did not even think to take photos. We were too busy enjoying the food and the moment. Even if you do not have a reservation, it is still worth showing up and trying your luck because this place is absolutely worth it.
Do not skip the olive oil with bread. It was by far the best olive oil I have ever tasted and I still regret not bringing some home. El Olivio is a must visit in Deià and deserves every single one of its five stars.
Last night, my wife and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at El Olivo, and it was truly unforgettable. With its spectacular views, spotless service, and exquisite cuisine, this restaurant easily ranks among the very best Michelin-starred establishments we’ve visited worldwide.
From the moment we arrived, the experience was flawless. Sasha, a fine gentleman from Tuscany, took incredible care of us, ensuring every detail was perfect. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The cuttlefish, in particular, was out of this world — a perfect balance of texture and taste.
It’s the small touches that truly set El Olivo apart. In the dim, romantic lighting, the staff still noticed when a napkin fell to the floor and replaced it instantly. Wine service was exceptional, with an excellent selection perfectly matched to the dishes. Even before dessert, they quietly and efficiently cleared the salt and pepper — a subtle detail that most diners wouldn’t notice, but a hallmark of world-class service.
Sadly, I’ve seen a few negative reviews of this place, and I can only say those people must not understand the exceptional level of service and culinary artistry achieved here. Bravo to the entire El Olivo team — you’ve created an experience that lingers in memory long after the last bite.
We will absolutely return one day, perhaps to try the longer tasting menu and even stay the night. This was a dinner to remember, and El Olivo has earned a top spot on our list.
A few things to note: the flavors were a bit unusual and if you’re not into seafood, this menu might not be suitable for you.
Two of my siblings don’t eat seafood, so they decided to leave the restaurant, but the staff mentioned they would still charge their cards even if they didn’t eat.
But it wasn’t just the food that made the evening so special. The staff was incredibly attentive — warm, professional, and always making sure we felt comfortable and taken care of. The ambiance of El Olivo is magical: soft vibes, candlelit tables, and a view that takes your breath away. Overlooking the mountains and the neighborhood, it felt like the perfect setting for a romantic and relaxing evening.
The combination of exceptional cuisine, stunning views, and the peaceful yet elegant atmosphere made it one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Mallorca. Everything was simply perfect.
The service was poor, the prices were high, and the food was mediocre at best.
We had the 6 courses meal, but the staff didn’t bother to introduce the dishes properly and spoke so quickly that it was hard to understand anything. It felt like they were just trying to rush through the evening and finish work.
One male server in particular, was extremely rude. I simply asked whether the check was placed in the wooden box, and he snapped at me, saying, “Did you order the bill or not?” — completely unprofessional behavior. On top of that, I had to wait 15 minutes just to get the bill, which made the experience even more frustrating.
The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and lovely view, but for the price point and the restaurant’s positioning, both the food and service were far below expectations. Definitely won’t be returning.
