DEAD at 6pm on a Friday. Food was nothing special, server was on her phone 10 feet away and didn’t ask if I needed anything a single time. “Salsa” was overpureed red sauce not salsa. No chips and salsa, as is done in every other Mexican restaurant out there.
This place was good a couple of managers ago. Second time trying in the past year and it’s going to be a hard pass going forward. I can’t figure out how this hole is still in business, everyone there seems like they couldn’t care less.

All these bad reviews can’t be right can they?? YES, YES they are. I ordered a strawberry margarita and it didn’t even taste like there was any alcohol in it. The chips were hard as a rock and the salsa is just juice with no flavor. My steak fajitas were very bland and the steak meat was so thin it was like it was shaved. I would not recommend spending money here. What’s sad is you can tell in the reviews when this place went to crap. Apparently 4-5 years ago this place was awesome.

There was certainly nothing special about this place. It’s a Mexican place, but they did not bring chips or salsa. The Taco Salad was horrible. It was more like a taco soup, there was so much liquid in it. And what is very weird are thr condoms at the front counter!!

Always friendly treat me like family food is pretty good.. Update 4 years later. Kyle the old manager is no longer there. The one holding the margaritas. For my understanding it has changed hands and they changed the menu to a more Americanized version. And then it changed Is owners yet again. I was talking to the manager And they are trying to get the menu back to where it was. I had the fajitas and a chimichanga. Both were good. My only complaint does they need to turn the lights down. As one guy said it looks like a high school cafeteria in there. I’m gonna give it 3 stars for now until I have a chance to go back in the future.

Remodeled, now called just Norteno. Subpar food. I had the classic fajita. Meat was flavorless but tender with no seasoning. Rice was overcooked and stuck together in clumps. Even the chips and queso were bad. So easily fixed by purchasing decent quality food, seasoning the
meat. Themargarita was good, so was the service.

This place used to be so good. We went there tonight, the only people in the restaurant, didnt get served chips and salsa till I ordered the queso dip, which took another 15mins to get and it was just slightly thicker then milk, and luke warm at best. Then our food was just barely warm again. Then another table came in, got chips right away. And the waiter saw we were almost done with our food, but went on break or something which is fine but we waited another 15mins for our check, so after not getting it yet, we went up to the counter to pay and the bill wasn’t even ready yet. And like I said there was our table and another small table. Idk not good service and just ok luke warm food.

Bad first. Hands down the worst salsa I’ve ever had at any Mexican restaurant ever. It was literally pico and what I assume was extremely watered down cholula sauce. I also felt rushed to eat normally people wouldn’t complain about ordering and 5 minutes getting their food but I wasn’t in a hurry. Portions however was awesome couldn’t even finish my chicken burrito. Burrito wasn’t bad considering how fast I got it. Spanish rice tasted instant and cheap. Prices are fair I had a beer and the burrito which came with refried beans and Spanish rice for 13.50$. Neat place improve on the salsa and add a full bar business might improve.

When we arrived there was only two other tables with customers. We waited for the waitress. She took a long time to return with appetizers and drinks. We waited and was there over 30 min before seeing her again and by that time we were the only one’s there. The food came and looked good. I ordered beef in my meal and after I cut it was chicken. Waitress never came back. I ate some of it and after sitting for well over a half hour we got up and went to pay and leave. The workers were visiting and playing on there phones. The waitress said oh I messed up. She sure did and I will never return.
