After 8 wasted trips to their food truck, we saw they have a brick n mortar now near Meraki. After another couple of false attempts at the brick n mortar, it seems their hours are now reliable. The tortillas here are the best we have seen in Eugene. Thin and pliant. After trying one of everything, the fish tacos are our go-to but consistency could be improved. 1st time was crispy, subsequent visits were soggy, last time 1st one was soggy but 2nd one was crispy. We appreciate the kick in the spicy mayo, but its too much for our taste, so we usually just ask for no sauce. Kitchen forgets toppings sometimes, so if you want that cilantro or radish for example, ask. The housemade flan was very dense and rich, lacking any jiggle, more like a pot de creme. Do check when ordering at counter as menu does not always list all ingredients, we found the guacamole sometimes has grasshoppers?(some kind of insect), and the pico de gallo is not tomato but mango (this is listed on menu). The fresh chopped pineapple on our al pastor wasnt to our liking, but others may appreciate the fresh fruit. Taquitos were stuffed full with chicken, but it was stringy (had to floss) and fried greasy so there were pools of oil in the salsa verde. Lettuce was yellowish and had brown spots but avocado was fresh and creamy. We thought overall presentation is nice, but flavors are on the mild side, much like Tacovore. Service is friendly, and its spacious inside, and while currently they are on a limited menu, they said they were planning on expanding their offerings, so there is plenty of potential.

I tried nearly one of everything in the menu. I enjoyed every single item. The tacos were my favorite with complex slow cook flavors. The tortillas were fresh and the flavors were superb. Add some lime and salsa and you have a perfect dish. I tried the grilled Cesar salad. The grill flavor was excellent! The dressing was perfectly fishy with an acidic bite.
The staff was friendly and helped me order. I ended up ordering nearly everything!
The margaritas were amazing. They were boozy, tart, and very refreshing. They went very well with our meal. I highly recommend coming here for a good time with food and friends!

Place your order at the counter and have a seat. They will bring it to you.i ordered canitas and steak tacos. Carnitas was excellent. Both tacos were juicy and plenty of meat. Had guac and chips. It was fresh. I will come again to try other things on the menu. This mexican restaurant is more like baja fresh cuisine. Not heavy rice and beans based. Clean atmosphere. Spacious. Free parking in the back of paid parking on street and adjacent parking lot for $5-3hrs. ADA complaint – much appreciated

I ordered two tacos de cochinita pibil and was delighted at how tasty these were. The meat was flavorful and tender, the pickled onions on top added nice acidity, and there wasn’t too much cilantro. I was pleased by how much meat they included in each taco. Both the habanero and arbol salsas were delicious, with a great kick of heat and plenty of complexity in flavor. Seating inside was cozy, comfortable, and clean; this place has a great ambiance! I hope to go back someday soon and try other menu items.

I really enjoyed this. It seems like there is lots of room for growth in the future in terms of the space and the menu, but what existed was crafted with care. The menu had 4 taco options, 3 of which were pork and 1 was fish. I would have loved to see some chicken and veggie options in there but really liked the tacos I got, especially the fish taco. Their house Caesar was interesting – I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to eat it with a fork or my hands the way it was presented, but I chowed through the whole thing. The dressing was on point and the charred romaine was goooood. I’ll be back to sample the drinks another time!

First time here and we really enjoyed it. We ordered the nopal salad, cochinita pibil, carnitas, and fish taco, and all three were delicious in their own way. We also had the well-known Mexico City–style sandwich (can’t remember the name), which was excellent. We liked the food enough to order dessert to go—the key lime pie and flan—both worth it. We’ll definitely return.

Everything was delicious and prepared with care. Forgot to get photos of everything before we started eating, but presentation matched the quality of the dishes. Drinks were also fresh and tasty. Very authentic flavors mixed with modern touches and a casual, clean atmosphere. Will be back many times!

Fantastic, getting their food since they were just a truck. A little pricey but worth it. The pambazo is my favorite!

Contrary to a certain other review on here they offer a chicken quesadilla. I guess hold the cheese and add cilantro onions maybe. Or modify it any number of ways. Sorry you couldn’t order it as a taco by force… . C’mon people of Eugene! Why would a local person go around bashing local restaurants with one star reviews for literally no reason. I understand we all get hangry and they have a different menu that 99 other places in town but sheesh. Get a salad! The salads are great.
