Our meals were drastically overcooked, the chicken tacos were dry and chewy. The steak on the meal for the kid was overcooked and hard to eat, which we paid extra to have it steak instead of chicken. I don’t mind the up charge, but it should be reasonable to have edible food. The chicken fajita nachos were overly salted and chewy as well. Overall, the food seemed like it just spent too much time in a microwave re-heating something that was pre-prepared.
Our server was friendly at first, but overall inattentive. No refills on drinks offered until after the meal, and sat after the meal with the dishes cleared for around 8-10 minutes until the check was brought to us. I did notice him numerous times standing in the back of the dining area just focusing on his phone. Not that that was any different from the other workers gathered around the front entrance with a similar posture. The place just was not ip to standards.
If I am going to have poor service, the food should at least be good. But poor service and sub-par food just makes for a bad experience.
At the prices for food at a restaurant, the quality should be better.
