My friend and I enjoyed lunch here. We decided to come in and support their effort to help those in need during the EBT delay. We have heard that they will be giving meals one day a week to food stamp recipients while the government is shut down and 10% of your bill goes to help with that cost. The food was great as well as the service! Clean and quite dining. Give them a visit.

Twice now I have ordered a kids polo con aros with shredded chicken and extra queso and twice now they have given me a bowl of queso, I had to hunt for the chicken and rice. This time I’m not even sure there was rice in it.
I have been ordering from them for years, I even stuck it out as their prices jumped, but now the quality is gone, the price is high, and it’s not worth it anymore. I paid money for food I can’t even eat.

We’re first time customers and the food was so good. Especially the birria. Everything was fast and cooked perfectly. The portion sizes are huge though so be aware before you order. We’ll definitely come here again.

When they inevitably bring you your order with mistakes, reconsider informing the staff as they’ll become irate, audibly complaining, and grumpily “fix” said order… by providing a (somehow) worse quality dish, as well as missing the previously ordered sides.
Oh, and if they do provide the “correct” dish to, say, your dinner mates, it may provide them with horrendous food poisoning, filling the rest of your evening with the sounds of their gut wrenching visits to the restroom.

It’s an alright option for a quick after work meal, especially with buddies. I personally don’t care for the food quality and feel they overcompensate with the portion size. Other than that, majority of the staff is friendly and get things done in a timely manner. There is one wait staff who’s a little… not there but can’t blame them, El Nopal get busy.

Eating here for years. Suddenly servers is poor and food went to hell .Who believes it’s a good idea to prep your food all wrong anymore. Check your order trust me check it or go to a better restaurant in new castle Ernestos much better service food has been always right. Next time honor you agreements.

I wasn’t expecting a whole lot from this Mexican restaurant in Eminence, KY (where??) but man, this place is worth taking a drive to. Food was amazing, pina colada was amazing. Vegetarian options beyond the usual bean burrito/cheese quesadilla. Huge portions. World’s hottest banana pepper on the Nopal Special. Will definitely be back for more!
