Fajitas are some of the best I have ever had! Most importantly they weren’t swimming in oil and not over salted! The meats were fresh tasting and tender and the bell peppers and onions were abundant. We had Fajitas combination steak, chicken and shrimp for two. The portion was so large we took a full container home. The staff were attentive and very friendly and … the bathrooms were spotless! Def going back!

The food was really good, and the portions will not leave you hungry. Drinks were spot on with what you would want. They are also really tentative with the service. Our server checked on us several times and was very polite. It’s very spacious and clean inside. So, if you had a larger group, they could definitely accommodate you. As for what we ordered, Macho Burrito, Monica’s Platter. Drinks were the Bourbon Margarita and Titos Fiesta. I recommend any of those.

I went here for a late lunch, early dinner during the afternoon time.
I walked in and was seated instantly. Absolutely no wait time for seating whatsoever.
Service was great and the server was extremely kind. Was given chips & two kinds of salsa (mild and spicy), a minute after telling the server what drink I would like.
Atmosphere was good, Mexican music playing in the background.
Food arrived approximately less than 4-5 minutes of being ordered, not much of a wait whatsoever. Food came out hot and fresh, looking delicious. Was delicious too! This place also gives you great portions, enough for two people and most definitely need a box. I recommend the Birria Tacos the shell was super crispy and the meat was so juicy and tender. I also recommend the Elote. The Elote was very tasty and had the perfect balance of spicy and lime. For dessert I ordered the churros and the wait for them was a little bit (5-7 min) although they were really crispy and crunchy and came with ice cream.
El Nopal is a great and super underrated Mexican restaurant. Checks all the boxes in my book. Would most definitely come here again!

I ordered the fajitas al pastor. Both my plate of steaming meat and veggies and my plate of rice and beans came in a massive portion, certainly enough for two people to share. Flavor-wise, I felt like mostly everything was under-seasoned, but I think a typical Midwestern crowd might take to the subdued flavors. My plate of fajitas had very little meat and was mostly vegetables. The veggies tasted fine, but they included sliced tomato in the pan, which turned into warm and slimy tomato goo on top of otherwise nicely sauteed veggies.
The service was great. We were seated immediately and the food came out quickly. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere was fine, but we did hear “Boot Scoot and Boogie” three times, in full while we were there, which again, might be a great fit for the right crowd.

Today was our first time here. The place is absolutely beautiful inside! Service and food were wonderful! The tortilla chips were red for Valentine’s Day! So sweet! Definitely will be back! No photos of our food because we ate it before we thought about it lol

My boyfriend and I got the food doordashed and when i say it was still hot and tasted amazing that is nothing but the truth! we got two bags of chips thinking there wouldn’t be that much in the bags, to our surprise when the food arrived we had two giant bags of chips, they also included three big things of salsa, portion sizes are perfect and the food is so worth it. Of course we had leftovers and the food was still just as good reheated. This restaurant deserves 10 stars and we cannot wait to go try it in person!

I do not know who has their abuela (grandmother) in this kitchen, but I demand she adopt me. By far the best Mexican food my wife and I have had in years!! My wife had the enchilada, which we will both be coming back for, and I had the beef chimichanga. The rice was remarkable and the environment was spacious and relaxing after a day on the ski slopes. Average a price was a bit over $20 a person and it was well worth it.

Place was dead at dinner time on a Sunday should have been a warning sign. Language barrier is definitely an issue but we got what we ordered. Food portion is a lot for the price but I’d rather have a smaller portion with more flavor. Food really has no flavor at all. Overall just not my cup of tea but it may be yours.
