Very much enjoyed our time here and was wonderful! Food was amazing and presented great with friendly staff and service. Highly recommend and will definitely come again myself! I got the El Burro Grande-Chicken with a Pina Colada and their House Tequila.

For a long time I was running away from Mexican food because I don’t eat anything with pepper, however I was wrong, even if you don’t eat spicy food, you can still go to Mexican restaurant, they have options a very good by the way. I definitely recommend El Nopal, nice environment and great staff. Food was delicious and price is fair. Definitely recommend it.

Friendly service, but with only a couple of people in the restaurant it took a very long time for them to come take our order and later deliver our checks.

I was there tonight getting drinks with a few people after work. Four of us ordered at the same time and I ordered two to go meals. Three of the meals came out within 10 minutes. About 20 minutes later we had two more people show up, and they immediately placed their orders as well. One of those came out within 5 minutes. After another hour and fifteen minutes (and reminding our server and the manager three times) the last two meals finally showed up. I got home with my to go orders and only one of the meals was included. The second box was filled with salsa. We were lied to by two people saying it was taking a while because there was a large group, but I put my order in well before that group ever arrived, and other people at our table got their meals quickly after ordering much later. I will never spend another penny at El Nopal.

Not too crowded in 5pm. Ordered two signature food, absolutely delicious. The waitstaff were kind and attentive. Highly recommend everyone to dine here, plenty of parking spaces available.

The food was good. Lunch specials were not expensive. The tortia chips was hot. The food was served a very short time after ordering it. They are fast during lunch time. This is great place to go during lunch if you are short on time and want a sit down meal instead of fast food.

I’ve been in town working the past 4 weeks now, this El Nopal has been my cheat day every week. The staff are welcoming and personable. Some of the fastest service as well. I gave only 4 stars for food due to the fajitas not sizzling when they came out the last 2 times however they are always delicious. Will definitely be back when in Louisville again.

If you absolutely abhor flavor this is the place for you! There are zero seasonings in their kitchen. The carry out nachos were such a rip-off; there may have been 7 chips in the small size. Avoid if you’re looking for flavortown and a fill-up.

This is as authentic as it gets! The chips and salsa were fresh, and so good! The food was made to order, and the portions were out of this world! The servers were fantastic, and we never ran out of drink while we were there! The decor and atmosphere was welcoming, warm, and beautiful!
