So migrating here is going to be a little bit harsh because the only instructions I gave for my food were no sour cream and no cilantro. As you can see by the picture of the taco, there is clearly cilantro. I’m tired of asking food to come without cilantro and getting cilantro. Therefore your rating gets punished.
The burrito had nothing in it that I didn’t enjoy, but also it wasn’t super great.
For a takeout order they do not give you chips and salsa apparently. Also a little disappointing.
So I’m beginning to think it is an El nopal problem that they can’t leave cilantro off of items because of the other location in Dover did the same thing.

What a pleasant surprise! First time and we will be back. The food was great, service by Genesis was friendly and was excellent; the atmosphere very colorful. I had tacos, authentic corn, lime onions and cilantro-my friend got fajitas which came with enough for leftovers. Prices were reasonable, and there are specials on Tuesdays. Looking forward to catching them again soon and trying some other dishes! Yummy!

Well, it was definitely an experience. It wasn’t the worst, but it definitely wasn’t great either. They now have their liquor license. But don’t know what white wine is or blanco. I asked our initial waitress for some queso and she said no, we have salsa. I thought baby. It was bad communication on my part, but I was there having a business meeting? So my business partner stated to the next person. That came over to our table that we would like some k. So we then received it. However, it was super thick because it was warm. I’m not gonna super get into it. However, we ended up with 3 separate servers. Everything that we ordered was just a bit off. Be it either in seasoning or the style in which it came out so. If you’re a person that doesn’t like a lot of seasoning and spices. Doesn’t want to be worried about if you’re gonna have heart burn later. This is absolutely the restaurant for you. I provided several pictures, but let’s just say the pineapple is going home with me. Basically the way. It came out so that I can make it better at home. I hope.

It wasn’t very busy for a Saturday night, but service was fast, and the server was friendly. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. The complimentary chips and salsa were really good, too. I had a mojito (which was a little sour for my liking), a chicken quesadilla dinner, and quesebirria taco. My husband had a peach margarita, which was delicious, beef tongue tacos, and carnitas tacos. I would recommend giving this place a try and we will definitely be going back soon.

We had a great time out to eat. Our sever Joel was amazing. He was the only one serving everyone. He was doing everything but cooking the food. For the amount of people walking in that he needed to help he kept his composure and helped everyone. He did a great job.

A wonderful and delicious delight tucked away in a small corner of downtown Sover, El Nopal never fails to exceed expectations with their service, atmosphere and amazing quality dishes. The live music time-to-time is always an excellent touch that paid fantastically with their magaritas.

Went to check out this new and cute location and it was better than expected. Nice addition to Dover ! The queso and chips were delicious! There was live music and the tacos were … tacos. I wasnt too fond of their birria but glad they let you mix and max your tacos .

A delicious twist on the classic up the road! With an expanded menu and a delightful atmosphere, I would 100% recommend this restaurant to friends! I have always had pleasant service and excellent food. The dining area is always immaculate and the staff is super sweet and professional.
We come regularly and today I got a delicious Blueberry Lemonade along with my enchiladas! Come for the delicious street tacos and expand your taste with the loaded Molcajete.

Disappointing experience overall. Shortly after our meal, everyone in our group experienced digestive issues, which was very concerning.
We were also charged $10 for two very small plastic containers of pico de gallo, which felt excessive. The food itself was marginal at best. The soft steak taco was overly greasy, with grease dripping from it, and the shrimp taco was sparse. The beans were extremely mushy and topped with cheese dust, unlike the melted cheese we’ve come to expect.
It was a Friday night with a guitar player unfortunately, the lone singer was out of tune, though we still tipped him for his effort.
Given the food quality and overall experience, we won’t be returning.

Genuinely the worst restaurant food I’ve had in over a decade. The fajitas were terrible – the vegetables were undercooked, while the meat was overcooked and dry. They had an orange crush mixed drink which the description said was made from fresh squeezed orange juice, but what I got was very clearly made from a powdered mix, and seemingly lacked any alcohol. The server was very attentive though, and was the only redeeming quality of this place.
