We used to go here a lot years ago, then we stopped after a couple of bad experiences.
We decided to give them another shot, this past Saturday was the 3rd visit in a roll where it was average to really bad.
We went in and ate, waitress was nowhere to be found even though the place was empty. Our food arrived without any tortillas and by the time she returned, we were basically done.
Decided to do take out and it was more of the same, forgot the tortillas, forgot the chips that came with the meal – luckily the second order had chips with it so we split them. The soup had one piece of meat and it didn’t look to appetizing. See pic

One of the best Mexican breakfast’s we’ve ever had . The Chilaquiles plate was superb . It’s more like a Migas style but with more flavor. My wife had the huevos rancheros plate. Absolutely loved it. We are now fat full and happy .

This place is so so good. The chips are so fresh, and the salsa is so good. The have had the chimichanga a few times which was amazing. This time I got the the chicken enchiladas and the sour cream sauce was by far the Best I have ever had. rice and beans are also fantastic. The service is also very good. This place is my favorite ❤️ so glad I moved to Forney. Sorry no photos I devoured it. Next time.

I’ve been eating here for well over a decade. It’s always hot, fresh and delicious. The pricing is better than most restaurants as well. Sometimes I’ll just pick up a 32oz salsa and chips. They have the best salsa.

I’ve been going there over thirty years even before they became El Nogalito. Here’s a pic of my plate, chicken enchiladas with a white sour cream sauce, refried beans with cheese and Spanish rice to which I added their fabulously delicious salsa picante. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Service is fast, too. I’ve eaten at other Tex Mex restaurants in Terrell and by far they’re the best!
