Let me start with the name….Nicamex don’t know where the other reviewer got the Nicaraguan food because this is a Mexican restaurant owned by a Nicaraguan there is NO Nicaraguan food here. I ordered the chips and pico and I wish the server would have told me it was HOT good but HOT….the I ordered the carne asada tacos and they were surprisingly good.

Worst place ever first and last time!! Ordered red chicken enchiladas got tortillas in red sauce no meat..sopa de marisco was more just like drinking warm water and didn’t even smell like seafood..took a 50$ lost today. What was suppose to be enchiladas had 2 strands of hair in it..taco bell better than this.. save your money!!!

This was my first time here. Im used to fritanga. they gave smaller size gallopinto. the churrasco was not even done on a grill. it was done on a frying pan. the stake wasnt a churrasco stake like fritanga. I will never come back to this place again. I woild give it a zero if i could.

2 stars for the gallo pinto. The carne asada tasted horrible. Fried cheese was ok. To go portions are terrible for the price. Tortillas were old. Disappointed as I was looking forward to eating some motherland food.

Food is great most of the time. Sometimes the gallo pinto has no flavor. They have great queso frito and chips with pico de gallo. Just don’t like that it’s so cold in there.
