Surprisingly good thai food when you need a change from Mexican. 12 tables squeezed by a hotel pool. So not much on ambience but it makes up for it with really good, well priced thai food.

Hidden gem so far we love the curries and haven’t veer to try anything else. It’s hidden behind the villa and there’s also parking lot in the back as well. Services are pretty good. Lots of snow birds during season. The food is amazing and done with love and style. Sometimes the food is just nice looking to eat. There’s also a table by the bar and you can even watch the food get cooked. Steps away from the beach of Playa La Ropa. Good romantic dinner with your love ones in the evening as well. Been here a couple of times and always had great food and experiences. Will definitely come back

We just went here today to try the Thai food. I got the pad Thai and my husband got the Thai stir fry. Both tasted very very good. The service and atmosphere were great as well. The price was towards the higher end so don’t be fooled by the pictures of the menu online. The average price per meal excluding a drink is around 300 pesos.

We arrived at 6:05pm tonight, placed our order for 2 meals maybe 6:15, saw other later seated tables getting served their orders, I jokingly told my husband that they likely had to run to Soriana to get tofu (it’s a Thai restaurant so common to use tofu), at about 6:55 ish, we ask where is our food, young waiter without an apology went to the kitchen to check apparently, came back about 7:10 to let us know that the tofu that we were paying extra for “had run out” and someone had to go to the store to get some, but absolutely no one came out to tell us that, permit us to order it without tofu, nothing. At 7:20, our order finally came. To add insult to injury, there was 6 small cubes of tofu in each meal, I’m talking small, hardly worth waiting for the back and forth trip to Soriana and certainly not worth the extra 100 pesos we paid. At no time was an apology offered, no manager came over to apologize, no chips and salsa or bread, anything, was offered. They still charged us for the full meal and 75 pesos per limonada. Will not be back. The food is very pricey for what you get.

We have eaten here multiple times. It is the best restaurant we have found anywhere in Zihuatanejo over the course of many years. Israel, the chef/owner is very inventive and versatile. We are particular fond of the fish he prepares- tuna tataki, ceviche, mahi-mahi with a mango sauce, tuna with a simple but delicious garlic sauce, tonight in saffron and white wine. We also appreciate that vegetables are excellent, not an afterthought like in so many restaurants.
The restaurant is tucked away , just off the beach, and is very calm. Honestly there are few restaurants in Seattle, a city that prides itself for its fish, that could match Murmullo.

Wow, what a surprise! We were here NYE 2024 because most of the other places had a set menu and we were sooooo happy. Food was legit and fantástico! Couldn’t have been more satisfied and we know Thai food. This place was awesome! Before eating we sat on their beach in private chairs. ❤️
