Well this was a pleasant surprise! Quite amazing seafood dishes. Definitely recommend the Marispina Rellena pineapple dish! Also had the lobster shrimp. The fish tacos here are absolutely AMAZING. Will definitely be coming back!

This place was great. Service friendly and helpful. Clean inside, no wait and food was betrer than what we thought. Our plates came out just like the picture on the menu good, and favors were over the top. My margarita frozen was a little watery, but the shot of tequila made up for it. I will visit this restaurant again when I come back to Seattle. I wish they had one in Central texas 10 stars easily

We came here because their ceviche is good but we also decided to order a grilled fish plate beans and rice, and I got 2 fish tacos I thought the fish was going to be fresh and grilled but to my surprise it was like fish and chips fried and the grilled fished plate was not appetizing at all fish was dry and burn the beans were super thick and dry, we asked for cheese to add to the beans but also got a dry powder cheese thinking that because it was a Mexican place they would have queso fresco nop so not sure if I would give them a chance, the service was good pleasant.

This is my favorite go to place for Mexican food. Food is good. Varieties of seafood choice. I love the Mussels cooked in theor special sauce. Flan is a must have as well even though you full by the time of dessert. However, last time I went there, they had music turned up so high that it was difficult to converse across the table. We did request several times to turn down the volume but our request was ignored. Otherwise this a good place to enjoy seafood.

Looking for a mariscos place, found this one. At first entrance reminded me of a place back in Ca. I am a Ca native in hope of finding mariscos as good as home. Place was cool 1 waitress, service took 10 minutes before she acknowledged me very poor. 15 minutes later I got my food. I got a Campichana, the mix tostadas, a beer and 2 margaritas. Food was awful and bland was a bit fishy. The seafood was bland with no taste what so ever. This by no means was fresh. Portions were small for the ridiculous high price they charged. The fish ceviiche was just god awful littel pieces of fish. I would not recommend this place, it is a waste of your hard earned money. You can make this stuff at home for half the cost. And you would know it’s fresh and taste better. All in all never going back!!

I love this local spot in Renton. Staff are always friendly and inviting. Their margaritas are delicious and the Mejillones(muscles) will leave your mouth watering. I recommend getting them well done! Accompanied by amazing music, your experience at El Muchacho Alegre promises to keep you coming back for more!

Service and food were amazing. The only problem was that the group of drunk guys screaming and playing extremely loud music. You couldn’t hear what the person across the table from you was saying. It was mid week at 4:30pm. If this is your ambient, then this place is for you. We asked the waitress to lower the music and she said that them guys liked music that loud.

Appetizers were standard chips and salsa but they were fresh chips and really good salsa. It had some spice and bite to it which I like.
I ordered the marispina rellena. It was a pineapple with seafood and cheese. Very rich and full of meat which was very refreshing given a lot of places don’t serve a lot of seafood. My only complaint was the cheese was a bit much but it was ok, shared with my family.
Staff were very nice and they had a live band playing in the restaurant as well and played a song for us. The atmosphere was very pleasant.
If you like seafood and Mexican cuisine and culture you should definitely give this place a shot.
