I had the combination plate: taco/tamale/chicken enchilada with rice and beans; I opted for green chile and I’d have to say I think this is my favorite green chile that I’ve had so far. Plenty of flavor and nice consistency, it’s perfect, imo. I’m very picky about tamales and these were great! Again, good flavor, good spice, and the ratio of meat to masa was just right. I was quite happy with everything and have ordered from here again in same week. Service was friendly and fast, restaurant was very clean. Will definitely be back… I’ll add a photo next time.

Very fun place out in Questa. The food was good but the staff were awesome. We were so impressed by their staff and how courteous and attentive they were. Also, the atmosphere is so fun. You walk in the front door and never would have guessed that there was a restaurant in the back. There is also what appears to be a dance hall or something similar to.

This place is a hidden gem! I have driven past this restaurant for 30+ years not knowing it was a restaurant. It wasn’t until a friend of mine mentioned how good the food was here that made stop and give it a try. They offer American and Mexican, they also make pizza. The restaurant is connected to a club of sorts which offers a full wet bar. If you don’t know most people would keep on trucking but this place was actually packed with all different license plates. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries my wife ordered the taco plate. You’re missing out if you don’t stop, glad we did FINALLY!

Nice spot to stop in for breakfast. My kids had a youth hunt and this was breakfast and beer. Great food and really welcoming and the hospitality second to none.

Finished a long and tiring hike so I was starving for a hot meal and some beers. I saw this business was open until 10pm so I drove 30 minutes to go eat there. I arrived at 8:30pm and there was a table of people sitting outside. As soon as I pulled up they got up and scattered off so fast. When I got out the car they said they were closed. They offered no response as to why that is. This is odd and rude behavior. Do better please.

Great food. Great prices. Friendly and clean atmosphere and did I say great prices? Oh! And homemade fries not frozen. U would think for those prices they’d be frozen fries not homemade. But these guys go all out. Come in and check them out if you haven’t already done so. And if you have? Come back and see them! U know u want to.

We dropped by El Monte Carlo for lunch today–our first visit. We had heard good things and it did not disappoint. We had the green chili burger, stuffed sopapillas and tamales. All were fantastic! It will be our first choice for lunch in Questa from now on. The owners and service were also great!
