Nice atomosphere, friendly attentive service, large tasy portions. Really enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak, yellow rice with vegetables and yucca wth stew. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A hole-in-a-wall spot where real traditional Colombian dishes exist. I frequent here for their sancocho (although other dishes are also delicious) because it reminds me of my grandmother’s cooking. If you want to try real traditional Colombian food, this is the place.

My first time here and definitely not the last one. The food was delicious authentic Colombian and our waitress was very attentive with us. I tried their passion fruit juice and it was sooo good. As an appetizer I strongly recommend the arepas with pernil, it also comes with a side of guacamole and queso fresco (try it with the fried arepas instead of the baked arepas, you can thank me later) LOL.
Overall it was a great experience at a Colombian restaurant.
I hope they keep the good work.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice and I like the atmosphere. The food were delicious with a taste of Medellin. The servers were friendly and attentive. One of the better Colombian restaurants in Rhode Island.

Update 7/16/2019: I am very sad typing this, I used to like this place and I don’t know what happened . I went to breakfast today here at 11am , i haven’t been in soo long .
I asked for a coffee , empanada and hígado .
First let’s start with the coffee : it’s instant coffee and it was awful . There should be a law against restaurant servicing instant coffee !!!!. I really didn’t see if she boiled the water or Just put it in the microwave . But it was a bad ….beyond bad !!!!!
Second : Finally the empanada came . When I split in half it literally the oil inside of it exploded . You will picture below and you will see there was a sea of oil inside this empanada. The oil dripped everywhere . I have never seen anything like this at any other place .
Third : the liver had potential . The woman who cooked it , can’t cook . It was the most horrid breakfast I ever had anywhere . everything took a long time and I was the only one there .
The service was subpar … non existent. When the other girl showed up (she showed up with her son), she was a bit friendlier but she showed up towards the end of my bad experience .
I left there with the longest face sad and mad at the same time .
To the owner or owners of this restaurant : You should really make coffee not instant coffee !!!! . A really great cup of coffee it’s a great way to start !!!!Second the girl who was there cooking can’t cook . She couldn’t even get an easy empanada right . Two: the hígado breakfast has potential but it was not good. If you don’t cook with peace and joy , your food will show it.
I really would hate to see this place go out of business . I probably won’t be coming here any time soon .
i had the feeling that the lady cooking and serving doesn’t care for this place . I hope it changes . If they continue this I don’t see them there in five years . There are six great options around for Colombian restaurants near by you got to step up your game !!!. Don’t get too comfortable.

I really enjoyed the food here. Would recommend your heritage to be beef, empanadas and your sides, depending on your entrée to be the rice and beans.

I do not recommend this restaurant!! The lady who served us at the time of paying the bill charged us excessively. When we asked about these charges, she barely answered and then said that she charged that way because no one gave her tips!!! Then we ordered some takeout lunches, this included soup and dry food, when we got home we saw that she didn’t give us the soup!! It is definitely a terrible service, excessive charges! I will never go back there. There are other very good Colombian restaurants in the area.

Don’t go here!!! First of all this place had us waiting 35+ minutes for some eggs and arepas. Restaurant was not even busy only one other customer there. After waiting so long when I received my meal the eggs were cold and my arepa was burnt to the point I could not even eat it and it was hard as a rock. I asked the waitress to remove it off my bill but I was still charged 2.00 the piece of cheese that was placed on it. That is absurd and no way to treat customers!! No wonder why this place is dead and has no customers. Would not return ever again
