Like many people, we were in Waterville camping. Our first night we always go into town for dinner after setting up our tent. This was our first time trying El Molino and it will definitely be our go to restaurant every time now. My husband is considering driving the hour there just to go for dinner again. The strawberry margaritas were great and so was the food. Even my picky kid found something she liked (and also loved the steak from her dad’s fajitas)!

El Molino is my FAVORITE Mexican restaurant. The food is just incredible. The prices are a steal for how much you get. You will have left overs and everything I have had here make excellent reheated meals. The building is very clean and the employees are attentive and kind. The food will arrive very quickly. I ordered the Juan Colorado add pablamo peppers. I also love the steak pablamo meal. My husband ordered the seafood molcajete, which he loved. My 2 year old loves the kids chicken enchilada, very flavorful but not too spicy for the little ones. He also enjoys their French fries. Also if you enjoy a margarita, they make the best for miles and happy hour is every evening making them super affordable. I highly recommend this place.

Good food and quality service. Just upset I didn’t know about this place sooner! Lots of variety in their menu which was very surprising. Can’t imagine coming to El Molino and leaving dissapointed. Will bring the girlfriend here again!

El Molino was a fantastic place to stop for lunch on our bike trip from Faribault to Mankato. Street tacos for $2 each and salsa that’s out of this world! Great service with friendly people! Stop in, say hi, and have some delicious food!

Had the wife order me a treat Appetizer menu in the Plaza Nachos as a treat to me as I’m in Rochester treating for lukemia and after she drove it down to share it with me for lunch and opened it up to find out it wasn’t even close to what she ordered, I more or less got a Styrofoam box full of tortia chips with a little salsa, beans, and peppers on it, after I called the restaurant and asked them to describe to me what should have come on the entree and even after reading it back to them right from there menu they claim that wasn’t was on the Plaza Nachos at all and not willing to make it right in any way, all he says is I don’t know, best of luck. Thanks Elmolino, spent lots of money in your establishment over the years being I live close. Will not be back.
