I can only speak to barbacoa chimichangas because that’s all I ever order and they are delicious! That’s the good news. If you are ordering from the window, expect to sit out front while they make your order. If you’re dining in, expect to wait even longer. Usually service is friendly but always slow. Tonight, service was slow and UN-friendly. The young man had to be flagged down to take our drink order, get more chips and finally take our food order. Never checked on us. Tuesday has a daily special of a chimichanga and drink for $11.49. Our check said $12.49 and $3.99 for a medium drink. I went up to the counter and reminded them of their own special. They said if I wanted the “special” I should have told them beforehand and now they have to redo the check. Excuse me? I have to tell you what your own specials are and then tell you I want the pricing? Also, the drink is supposed to be a small drink with the daily special and since I asked for a medium, they would upcharge me $1.50. How about this: if someone orders a menu item that is on the daily special, GIVE THEM THE DAILY SPECIAL PRICING!! And if they ask for something on the special that will cost more, TELL THE CUSTOMER!! Instead, they tried to overcharge their advertised prices by $5 just on one chimichanga and drink. Now, my friend and I ordered the same thing except one with beans and one without beans. I joked when we ordered “good luck getting those right” because you can’t see inside. And guess what, he didn’t get it right. Was it on purpose or ineptitude. We may never know.

I really wanted to like this place, but the experience was disappointing.
Every time I call, they answer the phone by just saying “hello” with no greeting or mention of the restaurant name. The first time, I genuinely thought I had dialed the wrong number. Most food establishments answer with something like “Thank you for calling ___, how can I help you?” but here I had to ask if I even called the right place. It felt unprofessional.
I still placed my order, but when I arrived to pick it up, my order was wrong, which was frustrating after already having a confusing start. The food itself was okay, but the service definitely needs improvement.
Hoping they can work on better customer service and accuracy.

Went there for dinner because and we were told to have a seat if we were dinning in. After about 5 minutes the cook brought us chips and salsa. After about 15 more minutes we still were sitting with no water and now chips are almost gone and still were ignored. Needless to say we walked out and they said nada. I do like their food but will never go there again. There are many Mexican restaurants around to choose from where the service is great. Unfortunately not this one.

I have been to this location at least 4 or 5 times now. I have to say they have the best shrimp tacos!!! Yes they are pricey thats why I don’t go often but when I do I always get the shrimp taco dinner! So good. Now I do usually have to wait a longgggg time but to me it’s worst it but it should be faster! The people are very nice . So when going know it’s not cheap and be patient.

Great little local Mexican restaurant. I had the Mojarra fish with garlic. The fish was a tad overdone and dry. But they were nice enough to give me some diabla sauce on the side, which made it easier to eat. I’ll give them another chance.

Slow as hell to order and slow as hell to make it. I ordered 4 tacos and 2 burritos. Get home and they only gave me one burrito. The freaking burritos are $12! $5.89 for a large fountain drink. That is more than Ohare airport. Never again. Called the number off Google and it says disconnected. There is a reason why this place barely has 3 stars rating. No I am not calling you to make it right. Keep my $12 you charged for a burrito I never received. This business is going to fail. There are many other better choices in the area. The prices are ridiculously high too. Good riddance. Oh almost forgot. They have the report posted inside near the door from the health department which states they were flagged for a lack of cleanliness! Seriously! Can’t make it up!

My husband and I stopped in here to grab a bite. This was our first and will be our last time ever going to this establishment. We were greeted upon entry and then told to take a seat. Once seated we were blatantly ignored by the server on the floor. I mean to be crudely honest it almost felt as we were not welcome. She made no effort to even try to interact with us, bring us menus/drinks, or even tell us it would be a minute before she could get to us. It was full of people already eating so there really was not excuse for the lack of service as everyone else had food. As someone who has worked in service I would consider the standard they are operating under atrocious. I think it’s fair to say they obviously do not want new customers. We ended up leaving after about 10-15 minutes of waiting. I cannot review the food as we obviously never even had the opportunity to order. Probably for the better as other reviews have stated they have gotten food poisoning from here. I do not recommend going here and I will be telling everyone I know to stay clear. Would give 0 stars if it was an option.
