I had a chicken chimichanga and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken was seasoned so well and it had such great flavors. Everyone in my party agreed their food was delicious. We got to try their wonderful homemade Horchata. Chips and salsa were not my favorite and we never got our drinks refilled. Parking lot is a little small, but plenty of street parking.

This may be the most authentic Mexican food to be found in Kentucky. I recognized some of the food on the menu but most of it was not American Mexican fare. I ordered a dish I had never heard of. It was wonderful. The server didn’t understand most of what we said but that didn’t matter much. We will return.

This place stands out from the 20+ other Tex-Mex places in Shelby County (yes, it’s laughable). This is my favorite little spot for tacos and more. Service can be very slow at time (momma takes her time in the kitchen) but it’s well worth the wait.

I use to absolutely love this place! Now, nothing is the same anymore. Who wants tomato paste/sauce to dip their chips in? I definitely did not want it on my burrito either. Tacos aren’t even good anymore like they use to be. The green sauce was the only thing that was saving it, and now they’ve changed that too and it’s all oily. Time to search for a new place.

I can’t believe what just happened to me today at this place. I bought 3lbs of carnitas, they charge separately for the pico de gallo now with the new owner and you’d think if they are charging you separately for the pico de gallo they would give you a portion that makes sense yet they HALF filled a SMALL white box and half filled a small cup of salsa. When I called to say something the girl told me to call at 3:00 pm when the person in charge gets there. Call for what… I already paid for the food????!!!! Garbage place, steer clear!!!
