This is one of my new favorite taco shops! They have the best California Burrito in east county San Duiego. The burrito is huge! What’s more important is the ingredients are all balanced and the fries are nice and crispy. Also, they have a great variety of salsas. The jalapeno sauce and the organce spicy sauce have so much flavor. Finally, the staff here is VERY helpful and friendly. I had an overall great experience and I can’t wait to come back. Delicious!! Eat up!!!

The Owners are very welcoming and friendly. I visit here at less once a week and the food is always FRESHLY MADE to ORDER! I LOVE getting their Conga burrito/ 2 Taco plate with the El pastor tacos. Recently I just tried their new item on the menu “Queso birria taco” it was well seasoned and delicious. It’s a must try item and don’t forget the consome! I recommended family and friends here. They rave about how good El Mofles Taco Shop food is and how BIG the portions are all the time!

The food is awesome here! I first tried a cali burrito and it was great. Next time I went I chose the surf n turf burrito and, again, I wasn’t disappointed. My wife ordered rolled tacos with rice and beans. Rolled tacos were crispy and fat. Rice and beans were very good too. The salsa selection was on point also, I prefer the orange one but they were all very flavorful.

We have recently started coming to this place and we really like it. I LOVE their albóndigas which come with a small side of rice, cilantro and onion. It’s not on their listed menu but still, SO good! They also recently started serving birria which comes with tortillas and a good amount of meat and consome. They’re super friendly, the food has great taste, and their portions are good too. They don’t have a drive thru but it is totally worth getting out of the car for.

El Mofles Taco Shop has recently takes over the old Cotijas spot across from Super Star Car Wash in El Cajon.
The taco offers and extensive menu and some good daily specials. I came in during breakfast and ordered one of their breakfast burritos for $11.39 plus tax. The burrito was #4, which came with bacon, eggs, re-fried beans, house potatoes, and cheese.
The burrito was definitely larger than most. It came well filled with scrambled eggs and house potatoes. They were both well seasoned as well. I did think the burrito could have used a few more ounces of bacon, but that’s just me. I like to taste and feel it in every bite. The flour tortilla was of good quality, but I do recommend, that after they wrap the burrito, to let it spend a little time on the hot griddle to firm it up, so that it is not loose.
The salsas from the salsa bar were great. The red medium had very good flavor and so did the green one. They offer much hotter ones but I did not partake. The service was very friendly. They offer a good amount of inside seating. Be sure to check out their daily specials.

Pretty new to me I just moved back to El cajon from La Mesa. This is definitely my go-to taco shop now. I just had 7 tacos yesterday they were amazing and you can’t beat the price per quality there.also the salsa options are great I love the hot stuff. Burritos are huge with good ingredients too. 10 out 5 stars.

I was there for the gran opening! Did not mind driving 100 miles or 1 1/2 hours to the restaurant!the food was delicous ! I had a huge burrito,favor ,size,was so good!can`t wait to go back ! Go and try it out! You wont be disappointed!
