I like their ceviche and anticucho here but I can’t stand when they give me false time of pick up. They would say 15-20 mins but then when I go there I would wait another 15 minutes. There was one time I called ahead of time before I leave work and I took my time to go there to pick and the food is still not ready haahahaaa. I don’t complain. I cannot complain when the boss is there telling me soon soon it’s gonna be ready. 45-60mins later of waiting. They should look at the time they take order and what they tell customer. Time is gold and I happen to be always taking time seriously. I tend to rush for nothing when it comes to El Miski. During busy times they do get a lot of orders and not enough cooks. I’m very patient but I wish they would give an accurate wait time. I’d be glad to wait outside since it’s not easy to breathe with mask and too hot inside humid.

El Miski is a Grower Not a shower. From the outside it looks like small stainless steel relic but once you’re inside you are taken for a ride. Lots of additional space in the back. Food is on point. Flavorful and salted to perfection. Service is cute. Mixture of veterans waitress’s and newbies. Lots of Spanish. Habla español Becky?

As a Peruvian American who grew up in white plains it saddens me to say that this restaurant is having shady business practices. In addition to messing up my order they added fictious charges to my bill and said it was a mandated “gratuity” of about 20%. When I spoke with the owner she stated it was an automatic charge and there is nothing she could do about it. I understand that waiters need tips however you can not simply add 20% of a bill without informing your customers. The food is average at best. If you do not wish to be unjustly robbed I recommend to try one of the many other Peruvian establishments in the city with honest people. Please don’t give these charlatans your business.

This place will get 3 stars for the chef not aiming for freshness. I saw fries sitting in the fryer since I walked in and he put in my plate. I tried right away and it tasted bad. They were sitting in the fryer for at least 15 + x amount of time before that.

Lomos saltados today 5/9/25, it was 80%rice 5% meat and 15% fries, not recommended at all. No tasty food ! I don’t like to waste food, but we didn’t have a choice, didn’t eat this as it tasted old cooked food.

I haven’t found a better ceviche than in this place.
The way they do it is an incredible and authentic flavor that will remind you of Peru.
The alfajores are also very good.
I really recommend this place. The staff is great, respectful and friendly.
