El Minuto offered very good but not top-notch food. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was fast and friendly. The decor of the restaurant was unique. The gravel parking lot is somewhat limited. Overall, it was a good experience.

My first time cheese crisp which tasted good but very greasy. Pinto beans are quite delicious compared with other restaurants I’ve been to. Other dishes are on average. The staff are friendly and helpful. They all wear smiles all the time.

Grew up in Tucson and idk why but I have never been here before. Food was decent. Nothing really wrong with it but it didn’t make me super impressed either. Salsa was crazy spicy but had good flavor. Enchiladas where pretty good but we didn’t get the extra sauce we asked for. The tortilla soup was pretty bland. Chips where decent wife said her chimichanga was good. Honestly aside from the lack of extra sauce nothing really wrong or bad. Just felt that there are other restaurants like Poco & Moms that have better food.

I love El Minuto! If you’ve never had there Bandera cheese crisp, do yourself a favor and order one. It’s perfectly crispy with green chilies, onions and tomatoes on the top. I grabbed one to go and it was delicious, as always! They have been making delicious food for over 70 years. You can’t go wrong here! Everything is delicious and it’s a great place anytime. Margaritas are delicious, too.

I’ve been eating at this absolute gem of a restaurant for over 25 years, and it’s hands down the best in Tucson for Mexican food. Their enchilada sauce is delicious, their portions are big, service is FANTASTIC and FAST. They are accustomed to serving people who work downtown and are in a hurry, but you never feel rushed. Eating here feels like home.

Salsa is killer good! I could eat it with a spoon. Would go back just for the salsa. Nice and hot and flavorful. Chimi was crispy and good.

Delicious! We are staying around the corner and found this place. Tried the cheese crisp and the shredded beef enchiladas (came with rice and beans), and margaritas. Everything was delicious! Definitely recommend!

El Minuto Café took great care of our large party, even accommodating us as their kitchen was getting ready to close at 7:30. The shredded beef tostadas were delicious, and the crispers were just as good. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and truly a 10/10. Plus, several staff members spoke Spanish, which made the experience even more welcoming. Highly recommend!
