Absolutely fantastic Mexican food this side of the Mississippi! Grew up in San Diego, CA and I miss my Mexican food on the east coast. The food is perfect and the staff are very friendly. El Milagro is just off Lee Highway (29) in Ruckersville, VA just north of Charlottesville. Stop in for $5.00 off your order with the coupon attached when traveling north or south on 29. Come in and see Victor! Tell him Jason sent you!

Authentic Mexican tacos in Ruckersville! I was very pleasantly surprised when I took a look at the menu and saw that they didn’t have your typical bland “Tex Mex” menu that we’re all used to, but truly had some authentic options.

Highly recommend this place! Lunch was cheap. Bar looks great. Very clean.

I think I have a new favorite lunch spot in Ruckersville!

Some real thought went into my veggie fajitas with the broccoli and carrots steamed and the onions, fresh mushrooms and green peppers grilled. Salsa tasted fresh and homemade.

Best Taco Salad in the land. Beef tips a sooo tender. Complimentary chips and salsa are also great. The first time I came here I had the Bacon Burger. Also great. Home made patty made big enough to fill the large hamburger bun. Service has always been very good and the restaurant is very clean. My wife had the fish tacos. She was very happy with them. Portion sizes are large. The staff makes every effort to make the customer happy. Highly recommended this place!

Awesome dining tonight at an authentic Mexican food place.,… Everything is freshly made and absolutely incredible. Can never eat at any other Mexican place in town now that I’ve had the best. Take a chance and stop into this gem of a restaurant….you will be so glad you did. The staff was so friendly and accommodating . Add this one to my favorites list!!!!

Stopped in for a quick snack and a drink when I had the better part of an hour to kill. Friendly service, fresh chips and some of the best salsa I’ve had in a while, and a surprisingly good selection of mezcal! It’s located inside a former fast food restaurant but don’t let the appearance fool you — this place is legit.

Virginia doesn’t really have Authentic Mexican food. This place is okay compared to others, but it lacks a lot of flavor and taste a little dry compared to the burritos and tacos back home in California.

Pros: I do like their quiet set up. It’s never been busy when I dined in and their staff are friendly.

Salsa was amazing. Food was not too shabby. Service…? Mmmeh… The place probably deserves more than 3 stars but doesn’t deserve as many as 4. I give them the default score of 3 to allow them to potentially under promise and over deliver. The potential for success is there but my visit didn’t convince me that anyone there really wants it.

Got one of the spicy shrimp dishes, actually needed the sour cream for once. Waitress was very kind and offered to bring a glass of milk if I needed it. Was clean and tidy, bathroom was a bit low-end but the utilities worked. Good place.

I went with my kids and had some chorizo tacos. Place is family friendly and our server was very sweet. The taco game in Charlottesville has some pretty hard hitters that i won’t mention here, but the chorizo tacos that i had stack up pretty well in my opinion. Verde sauce was pretty darn good, too. Would have been 5 stars but like i said others have an even stronger taco game in Charlottesville. Still, the tacos are totally worth going for if you can get over the fact that it is an ex-Arby’s.
