Eat here! While it may look aged from the street there is a very good reason they have stayed in business decades. Amazing food and outstanding service. You’d think your abuela and her best friend are in the back making fresh tortillas. They are so delicious! All the food seems home cooked with love.

I wish this place was near my house, but then I’d be so huge. If you like good people and good food this is the place to eat. Wear elastic waist pants.

8th stop on our search for best breakfast tacos in SA. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere on a slow morning. I gotta say the beans are a throw back to my childhood and I really enjoyed them. Overall though, I gotta say these were some of the more run of the mill tacos we’ve had so far. Which is no knock on the quality of the food at all, it’s just with the different places we’ve tried they are all good but some are just better. As always there’s so much more on the menu to try and nothing has dissuaded me from coming back. 4.0 out of 5

Great spot for breakfast with all home made ingredients. The ranchero sauce was on point, great bems and papas chorizo. Both extra salsas red and green had great balance. The one disappointment was the barbocoa which was still good but lacked flavor depth. The portions were huge though so it had a lot of value. I plan to return next time in SATX but will try the bacon or sausage. Great flour tortillas as well. Also includes a fried corn under the eggs and I got a side of ranchero.

I went on a weekday so parking was not an issue as the restaurant was almost empty but I could see this being an issue of it’s crowded. Street parking only.

Great place and good food! I went about a hour before closing for my lunch hour. I didn’t mean to I actually dislike going to restaurants so close to closing time just because sometimes it’s not as good. I had the enchiladas verdes w chicken and it was sooooo gooood!!! I loved it!

Y’all!?.. 3 words, Green Chicken Enchiladas! These were so good and authentic. We also tried their tacos which were also great. Would ask for queso fresco with them next time. So glad we decided to stop here! This place is BYOB. Friendly staff and big props to the cooks, they know what they’re doing!

This cafe is a special little gem where the food is really tasty. Service was outstanding it’s a quint place. Parking is a task…but you will find parking. Even if you park a block away it’s worth going. I had albondigas with corn tortillas delicious . Hubby had menudo with flour tortillas. Our drinks were lemonade and sweet tea.

This local spot is the best place to co.e eat breakfast. Me and the hubs never leave San Antonio without stopping here! It’s a little run down, and parking is hit or miss. However, the service and food make it all worth it! They have homemade tortillas!! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I recommend giving this gem a try.

This place is across from Tycoon Flats. It has indoor and outdoor seating. From the outside you can’t tell how big it is or if anyone is there but when you walk in, there’s plenty of seating. Our waitress was friendly and fast and the food was delicious. The only downside is finding parking.

Person answering the phone was extremely rude. We called to let them know our pickup order was incorrect and she kept arguing that she took it down correct and we didn’t ask for certain things. I told her we were going to take the food back and we just wanted a refund. SHE ACTUALLY HUNG UP! I called back to speak with a manager and she said she was the manager to just go and get a refund. I said I needed to speak with someone who could actually handle my call. She laughed and stated she doesn’t have time for this she’s too busy and I need to just go in and get the refund.
