Tried this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. They have daily specials that make you want to return. Initially, they serve you chips and salsa and a small bowl of oatmeal with a slice of toast. The entree itself is pretty well-served. I was surprised that even the $5.99 specials had a hefty serving. Have been here twice, so it is worth a return trip. We even got to dine with Zelensky’s doppelganger. Lol

They brought us a small cup of complimentary Menudo and believe it or not it was my first time ever trying Menudo and it wasn’t as bad as I thought.

Over easy eggs were over cooked. When I told the waitress, she said I had to bring it up with the cashier. When I told the cashier, she said I should of told the waitress. Hmmm. The waitress was so busy, that she didnt come to the table to ask how everything was, she lied to the cashier. Well, they don’t take constructive criticism well.

We have gone to this restaurant several times. In the beginning, it was nice and inviting. As time passed on the cleanliness level seem to decline as well as the service. The food has always been good, mostly good, but the service has most recently become terrible. If you do not like the greasy spoon type of restaurant, the typical hole in the wall, I would NOT recommend this place. It’s kind of grimy and looks dirty and it looks like it really needs a good cleaning. The condiment bottles (sugar, container, A1 sauce, ketchup, etc.) are completely nasty and have not been cleaned, ever. We decided not to go back ever again.
