Love this place. The menu is exciting. You have to get the Chile verde bean dip! The service is on point. Family owned and operated and on the premises morning to night! Such a hard working family. Always making sure to make you feel welcomed and well fed. They have margaritas too! Give em a try, you won’t be disappointed.

This is one of our favorite spots in Shafter! Everything is excellent. The heat level is up there. The salsa had a nice bite. The tortilla chips and guacamole are fresh made when you order and spicy. My omelet was fluffy and my husband’s was cooked perfectly as well. The chile verde was spicy and good balance between sauce and meat. The rice and beans were good as well. We’ve had the huge breakfast burritos, enchiladas, chile colorado, chimichangas, and other items on other visits and it’s always been delicious. Service is always great. They are quick, polite, and attentive.

Authentic and best tasting food on our road trip. Went out of our way to get there and absolutely worth the visit. Like the side adventure on a quest that is just as epic. Roasted fresh ingredient in their salsa was unequalled.

We don’t live close by but we always try to stop by when we are in the area because the food is bomb! Literally my favorite authentic restaurant hands down. Must try the micheladas, aguas frescas, chile verde burritos, guac with flour chips, enchiladas. I wish I lived closer!

Absolutely delicious! The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. The chips and salsa were fresh and warm. My daughter ordered a meal and the server made sure to let her know it was extremely spicy. I ordered the enchilada salad which was a huge portion, was so delicious.

The food was delicious and the service was friendly. The shredded beef is far more tender and juicy than most places. The menu had a lot of seafood options, along with menudo and some other items you don’t see in every Mexican food place.
