Thought we’d try this again since they’re always busy, which was a mistake. The waiter came around to take our order, drop off the food, and deliver the check. Food was substandard. Chips were cold and unsalted, guacamole has brown and white spots in it, the taco meat was extremely dry and tasted like canned dog food. Won’t be back.

This is by far one of the best restaurants for fast, hot, and delicious Hispanic food. The menu is clear and even has pictures of of some of their items. Chips are always warm and has the perfect blend of crunch with salt to scoop up salsa or queso blanco. It is a must place to try out.

a Topeka native recommended this place after we finished a movie. Sunday night and a little busy but many open tables. Her and her kids come here often. Our waitress could’ve been new but regardless she wasn’t very good. Took far too long to get our drinks. The horchata tasted watered down. We had to ask for green salsa a few times. First when she’s brought out chips and salsa. When she eventually came back with the drinks she didn’t have room on her tray on her first return. Fair, she had a tray full of beverages for us and another table. the second time she didn’t have anything in her hands and came to take our order. She brought the salsa afterwards. My friend and I both ordered fajitas. They came out lukewarm. Beans, rice, everything. I could pick up the fajita skillet barehanded. Maybe my expectations are too high but ever other place i go the fajitas come out sizzling and there’s no way I can touch the skillet without a burn. We complained and she fixed it and they came out sizzling this time. The taste of the food was good. My teenage son had quesadilla and my daughter rice and beans. Our service improved after that and she was very attentive when I requested the bill. She understood her service wasn’t the best and tried to make up for it. I’ll give her that. All in all my friend was super dissatisfied. All in all it was a “meh” overall dining experience but I could possibly give a second chance.

Yeah, I know I’m gonna keep it real on here! When I walked in, it just felt like I wasn’t welcome there and I’m not even from Topeka. I’m from Wichita. When they sent me down, my chairs was still dirty, but I cleaned it off. No big deal for appetizer they gave me chips and salsa. The chips were stale and have no salt on them which they usually do have salt and they usually warmed up. Mines were cold. when the food came out, it was pretty good but I feel like I could just cook it at home to being honest oh yeah, my lemonade out ordered. He didn’t tell me it was a pink lemonade which pink lemonade is not the best and also was watered down which made it worse lol I feel like this can improve on a lot of things in my opinion but

Always has a wide selection of food and is usually is very good. Our waitress got a large party and we got ignored when she started servicing them. But that was ok because we were uninterrupted and could visit.

I had never been here before but I had a pretty good first experience. I ordered the Shrimp Fajita Nachos and it was pretty good, definitely plentiful. The food got delivered very quickly, so it does make me wonder if some of the components were already made and just got heated up to serve. Also me and the friend I was with both had issues with the sticky and stained menus, but I guess those are minor concerns. The server was very kind and courteous as well. I would absolutely come back and try more dishes!

Complimentary chips and salsa were warm and fresh. Ordered the T-bone Steak Mexicano and a Diet Coke. It was very tender and tasted good. Overall, a good meal that came to only $20.

I’ve been coming here a long time. since i was a baby, i grew up/ went to school with the families son. I can’t count how many times ive been perfectly served by the workers. but recently the workers have become lazy. When i ask for more silverware i was looked at strangely like then was pointed to their silver ware bin at their counter. very disappointed in how rude and lazy they’ve become. The son though, Carlos. Is an amazing worker and always gives me 100% perfect service.

They have been my favorite for years and years my children (ages 3-18 years old) all love their food and so do I. I would recommend to anyone who wants reasonable priced dinner out with the family.

The food was not to my liking. I ordered steak tacos and got 3 tortilla shells with steak on them. There was no lettuce, cheese or tomatoes. I was really disappointed and will not be returning.
