I ordered takeout from El Mezcal on Union Ave and overall I loved the food! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-portioned.
I ordered a plate with enchiladas and Mexican rice topped with sauce — it was delicious and full of flavor. The rice was seasoned perfectly, and the sauce brought everything together. I also got a taco with ground beef, lettuce, and rice, and it was packed and satisfying. The grilled chicken over rice was cooked well and had great flavor too.
The only small issue was that I asked for no cheese, but there was still cheese included. It wasn’t a huge deal for me, but I do hope they pay closer attention to special requests in the future.
Overall, the food was really good, the portions were generous, and I would definitely order from here again!

There’s a special for each day of the week. I prefer to go after the lunch but before dinner just to get that level of calmness. Only down side is staff starts taking their breaks around that time also. So request everything you need once you are waited on for the best experience.

We were hoping this was a franchise of an El Mezcal we have been to many times in Florida, but I am pretty sure they’re not affiliated. The food was not bad, average at best. However, the typical things I always eat is served with rice and beans everywhere else, but here you have to buy separately which I don’t like. The building leaves a lot to be desired and the inside of restaurant is not any better. It is a bit depressing looking inside and has a weird smell kinda like an old person’s house smell. We paid $96 for 3 people which left a bad taste in my mouth. Especially considering none of us ate anything fancy! It is safe to say we won’t be returning here. It is so not worth the price!! The staff was friendly though on a positive note.

No complaints!! Sooo good!! The guiso of carnitas was so tender full of flavor the spice was just the right amount of kick to still enjoy every bite, and portion wise just enough to feel satisfied. Must try this restaurant if you’re in town.

I heard a lot about this place and I’ve passed it a lot and decided to give it a try! Very good Mexican food and even better drinks. The people were so nice and friendly. This would be a great place for cinco de mayo. The steak Mexicano was very good too! Check them out

I got the wings and a beer.
The Mexican beer was nice and cold. The salsa and chips were good.
However, the wings were not good at all. I tried to eat one and it was too fatty and hard. I took the rest home and thought if I doctor on them with a little sauce and seasons that would make them better. But there was no hope for them. I called back to let the manager know but I guess they were closed.
I would love to try them again if they would give me a free order of wings
